If your publishing process breaks on a simple test post, it will break on the day that matters. đď¸
I learned this the hard way. A founder asked me to announce a key update to partners and candidates. We assumed everything was fine. It wasnât. The post never reached the people it was meant for, and we only noticed after the window had passed.
So yes, this is a test post to verify publishing works. And itâs also a reminder: leaders donât just test products. We test communication.
Hereâs what Iâm checking with this post:
â
Does it show up on time?
â
Does the formatting read clean on mobile?
- Do comments and notifications arrive fast enough to respond while the post is still alive?
- Can I measure who actually saw it, not who âshould haveâ seen it?
If youâre shipping anything soon, treat your comms like your release process. Small tests save big launches.
If you see this, comment âSeenâ and tell me your role. Founder, operator, investor?

Skip the reset and Monday owns us.
Laptop closed, mind still on open tabs, half-written messages, delayed decisions. It hits in the first standup when we lead from anxiety, not clarity.
On Saturday we ask 3 questions: What loops are still open? What does the data say, not our fear? What three outcomes are non-negotiable next week? No hacks, just a rhythm that starts us together with intention, not leftovers.

Friday doesnât ask what we planned. It shows what we did. đĽ
By now, most of us have closed a dozen loops, and somehow opened twenty more. We shipped something. We missed something. We made a call under pressure, and a part of us is still replaying it while the laptop is already shutting down.
Iâve been building software for 14 years, and even with a 50 person team and 200 plus projects behind us, Fridays still surface the same quiet question: was it enough? Not for our ego. For the people counting on us.
Hereâs the reframe Iâm leaning on tonight. Progress rarely feels clean in the moment. Some weeks we build. Some weeks we protect the team, the roadmap, the cash, the trust. That counts too. đ
Before you step into the weekend, pick one thing we did right this week. One decision that reduced risk. One release that moved a customer forward. Give it a name, then let the rest wait until Monday.
Whatâs one thing you shipped this week that you havenât given yourself credit for?

Everyone thinks AI agents are only for big, messy orgs. Reality: theyâre deadliest for small teams that need lower costs and faster ex*****on.
RAPID AGENT GRID: 1) pick one repeatable task, 2) write 3â5 rules, 3) plug an agent into your stack, 4) track hours saved this weekâor stay on the sidelines and keep hiring where software could scale.
Which subâ15âminute task will you test an agent on first?

Most of us spend the week running. Friday is when we finally look up. đŁ
We started Monday with a clean plan, clear priorities, maybe even a bravely small backlog. By today, reality has rewritten half of it. Fires appeared. Scope shifted. People needed us. We crossed things off, but the list grew faster than we moved.
And even if we shipped good work â a release, a key hire, a tough decision â thereâs still that quiet voice asking, âWas it enough?â The laptop closes, but the mental tabs stay open: that one risky call, that investor thread, that product bet we wonât see the outcome of for months.
After years of building software with a 50-person team and hundreds of projects behind us, one pattern keeps showing up: some weeks we build, some weeks we survive. Both matter. Both are part of the architecture of the company weâre creating.
Progress is rarely a straight line. What feels like âjust holding it togetherâ often becomes the foundation for the next leap. We donât have to finish everything. We have to finish the right things. And rest is not a reward for a perfect week. Itâs a requirement for another meaningful one.
If youâre ending this week wondering if you did enough â you probably did more than you think. The weekend isnât a bonus level; itâs a reset. Take it.
Whatâs one thing you shipped this week that you havenât given yourself credit for?

Everyoneâs celebrating Wealthfrontâs $2.05B IPO targetâbut most founders are looking at the wrong scoreboard. đŁ
This isnât just âanother fintech IPO.â A Palo Alto robo-advisor, born as a digital-only wealth platform, is stepping onto public markets at multiâbillion valuation in a year already crowded with fintech listings. Thatâs a clear signal: public markets are now willing to pay real premiums for software that manages money, not just moves it.
Three implications for founders and CEOs:
1ď¸âŁ Trust is now a product feature. Wealthfront sells confidence at scaleâalgorithmic investing, low fees, automated discipline. If youâre in fintech and still treating compliance and UX as separate tracks, youâre already behind.
2ď¸âŁ Fintech is graduating from âdisruptionâ to âinfrastructure.â A $2.05B target says: digital wealth management is no longer a side app; itâs core to how the next generation invests. Incumbent banks and brokers will either integrate, acquire, or slowly concede the younger customer.
3ď¸âŁ Your exit story has changed. Public investors are rewarding recurring revenue + assets under management + low human overhead. If youâre building in financial services, align your metrics, pricing, and product roadmap with that triangle nowânot 12 months before filing.
If Wealthfront can turn a roboâadvisor into a $2B+ public story, what overlooked âunsexyâ wedge in your industry could become the next marketâdefining platform?

You're not going to like this, but most of us donât lead our week. Our calendar, inbox, and chat apps lead it for us.
And they optimize for noise, not for strategy.
When we run on autopilot, decisions are made by whoever shouts loudest. Culture is set by chaos, not by choice. A simple leadership system flips that: time, decisions, and rituals start serving the strategy, not fighting it.
We use a four-part âDesigned Weekâ system:
1) Weekly map (30 minutes): Choose three nonânegotiable outcomes for the week. Block time for them first. Everything else is flexible.
2) Decision windows: Two daily 15âminute slots where we clear decisions in a batch, using three filters: impact, reversibility, learning value.
3) Culture rituals: One short alignment huddle to define the main bet for the week. One short âwhat we learnedâ circle before the week ends.
4) Friday reflection (20 minutes): What truly moved the strategy, what we will stop next week, who is blocked and why.
If you start with one practice this week, make it the Friday reflection. Block it now, protect it, and treat it as seriously as an investor meeting.
If we ignore systems like this, the real risk is not just burnout. The company slowly optimizes for urgency over importance, until strategy becomes a slide deck instead of how the team works.
What is the one concrete change you will make to the way you design next week?

Most founders celebrate the $300 M raise, but they miss why Black Forest Labs matters for Europeâs AI future. đŁ
A German startup just secured $300 million at a $3.25 billion valuationâone of the yearâs biggest European AI deals. The capital isnât just a vote of confidence; itâs a signal that deepâtech talent and market demand are converging outside Silicon Valley.
First insight: Scaleâup funding of this magnitude unlocks computeâintensive research that was previously limited to U.S. giants. Black Forest Labs can now train larger diffusion models, delivering higherâquality images faster and at lower costâdirectly boosting product teams that rely on rapid visual prototyping.
Second insight: European investors are betting on regulatoryâfriendly AI. With GDPRâaligned data pipelines, founders can avoid costly compliance headaches and bring AIâgenerated assets to market with fewer legal frictions.

Most weeks feel ordinary. But each week prototypes who weâre becoming. If you repeated this week 100 times, what leader would emerge? đ
We let calendars run, reply on autopilot, ship featuresâand wonder why the future we preach stays distant. The gap isnât laziness; itâs the missing pause that aligns daily actions with who we aspire to be.
Treat the weekend as a design studio. Before the next seven days lock in, run a brief âSunday Control Panelâ to set intent, not just add tasks.
1ď¸âŁ Identity â âIf I repeat the next seven days 100 times, what kind of leader and human does that create?â
2ď¸âŁ Leverage â âWhich three moves will bend the trajectory, not just keep the machine running?â
3ď¸âŁ People â âWho needs me to show up differently so they feel safer, braver, or more supported?â

When we skip a reset, Monday owns us. đď¸
We close the laptop Friday, but our brain keeps scrolling half-written emails, open tabs, and deferred decisionsâso the weekend feels like work.
On Saturday, pause and ask:
- Which loops will bleed into next week?
- What does the data say, not anxiety?
- Which three outcomes would make it a win if everything else goes sideways?
No hacksâjust a rhythm to stop chaos and lead the week on purpose.
What are your three nonânegotiables for next week?

Weâve built machines that can predict, create, and connectâbut the real engine is the gratitude we feel for the people who inspire every line of code. đď¸
Our ambition is simple: turn family stories and daring dreams into technology that lifts lives, because the human spirit is the only AI we canât replicate.
From all of us at Bles Software, happy Thanksgivingâwhat will you build together tomorrow?
