Иногда хватает мгновения, чтобы забыть жизнь, а иногда не хватает жизни, чтобы забыть мгновение.

Why is it that nobody operates with a sense of urgency anymore? Seriously. Why is this? You're going to die. You, me, everyone you know and everyone you'll ever know. Everyone. Maybe today, maybe tomorrow. Maybe in 50 years. Maybe in 80.
Unless you're on death row, nobody knows the exact date and time, but that doesn't change the fact that you're going to die. You're literally borrowing your life from the universe, and it will take it back.

On that glorious day in which you took your first breath, you took out your first loan. That breath was, in fact, a loan. The Earth is down one breath in its ledger, and it will settle its debt. One day, you're going to have to give it back.
Certainly by the time you hit puberty, you've realized this fact. (If not, give it a moment to sink in ... )
Truth and consequences
This is a profound realization to have in this life, and yet some people are terrified by it, which is a shame. The truth is this knowledge should be liberating!
It gives you a firm deadline for existence. That's a perfect, if unknowable, timeline by which to guide your everyday actions towards achieving the only things that matter in life.
Everything you do should either: 1.) Make you happy; 2.) Make someone you love happy; and 3.) Make the world a better place. If it doesn't lead to achieving one of those goals, you're probably wasting your limited time.
Deviations from this path can be devastating. A failure to guide your actions to these three goals is effectively punching your soul right in the face.
Money without purpose is meaningless. Ambition without goals is meaningless. Goals that deviate from the only three end results that matter are a waste of time.

This is why you see some celebrities and millionaires that are beyond miserable. You can work towards a goal and realize it was the wrong one. This can understandably leave one in a state of utter despair.
I believe that on some subconscious level, these "successful" people that are the envy of many are terrified at the prospect of wasting so much time doing stuff they never truly enjoyed to gain possessions that they never truly wanted.
There's still time to pivot.
The funny thing is, until you're six feet under, you've still got a chance to change course. The past is done and written, so there's no benefit to living in it. Even if you wasted time, like we all have, you can still aim to fulfill your life goals.
The main cause for this time-wasting trap is when you focus on what you think you should do, or what other people say you should do.
Don't even worry about what other people think of your goals. If they see them as shallow or ambitious or crazy, that's their problem, not yours. If you want a billion-dollar yacht, or want to sit around watching TV all day, that's on you. If you want to start a company that changes the world, that's your call.
Not everyone will agree with your decisions, and you shouldn't let that bother you. If it makes you happy, makes someone you love happy, or makes the world a better place, you're doing great work.

Don't ever wallow in pity over lost time. Focus on the future where you can work to achieve your true life goals every single day.
Think about it for a moment. Deep down, what are your true life goals, what are the steps you need to take to get there, and why aren't you taking steps for it right now? Why not ask that girl (or guy) out? Why don't you take a month to travel around the Caribbean? Why wait to start your own business? Why wait to build that app you've been dreaming about? Why wait to quit that job you hate so much?
Its time to start living with urgency, because your time is limited. Stop living like you're never going to die, only to die anyway with so much left on your personal to-do list.
Live, right now. It's not too late to leave your mark on the world. It's never too late.

Android/Chrome/Firefox/Opera/Safari/Web: Services like Pocket and Instapaper are great for saving articles to read later, but they're not always good at finding new and interesting stories around the web. ReadingPack is a new service that can do both at the same time, and looks good at the same time.
ReadingPack is a lot like other bookmarking services, but its focus on helping you find new and interesting things to read and connecting with users who share your interests makes it stand out. Sure, you can share articles with friends on Twitter and Facebook, but the service really shines when you subscribe to other ReadingPack users who have their own articles to recommend. When they do promote articles, you'll get notified that there's something new and awesome to read. Best of all, the service is completely free.
There are several ways to get your articles into ReadingPack, and extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera. You could just use the browser bookmarklet if you prefer. ReadingPack also supports mobile browsers, and the ReadingPack app for Android lets you save stores on the go and read suggestions from your reading list. The app even supports IFTTT, and has a ton of starter recipes to help you get started with it. You can even email articles to ReadingPack to have them added to your list. Then, when you recommend them, everyone who follows you will get notified that you found something you think is really worth reading.
Like we mentioned, ReadingPack is free. It's new, so you may have to do a little looking around to find someone to follow, but it's still great as a place to store bookmarks and articles to read later. Hit the link below to give it a try.

How to Persevere (And Get Ahead!) When the Going Gets Tough
1. Accept and Anticipate Change
In today’s world of constant change, it’s hard to manage the complexity and unpredictability of life. It’s even more difficult to find the motivation to persevere in the face of constant change.
Instead of fighting the inevitability of change, learn how to accept it. Embrace change and know that by doing this, your life can only get better. Resisting change will fuel the negative energy that keeps you feeling discouraged about life.
Learn how to be agile in your thinking. Ask lots of questions and look for solutions. Don’t just focus on the problem that you are facing. It is a lot harder to solve a problem when you are immersed within the problem itself.
Become a solution seeker because, as the Dalai Lama said:
“If a problem can be solved, it will be. If it cannot be solved, there is no use worrying about it.”
2. Use Your Power of Choice to Liberate You
One of the few things you have total control over is your power of choice. No one else can take that away from you, so use it when you want to learn how to persevere.
When life gets tough, and you don’t know what to do next, you still have the power to choose. It is the choices that you make that determine how you react to the tough times you are facing. You can choose to do nothing, hide away, allow yourself to be distracted from the issue you need to face, or you can choose to take action and face your problem.
In my experience, the easiest option is to choose to do nothing, but it always comes back and bites you. In the words of psychologist Carl Jung, “What you resist will persist.” Choose to make choices that will enable you to move forward, not backwards or around in circles going nowhere.
3. Don’t Be Afraid to Ask for Help
Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. A person who chooses to be a solution seeker is a resilient person who is self-aware and will actively seek support, advice, and encouragement from others when times are tough.Solution seekers value the input of others because they know others may have wisdom or positive energy to help them overcome adversity and keep moving forward in life.
Afraid to ask for help? You can learn how to begin with
4. Be Positive and Laugh When You Can
For me, this is my secret weapon that helps me to keep going when I’m not sure how to persevere. Having a positive attitude enables us to use our power of choice wisely.
A positive attitude opens up your mind to explore possibilities, whereas a pessimistic attitude closes your mind down and encourages you to withdraw yourself from finding your way through the challenges you are facing. With a pessimistic attitude, there is no growth and no learning; there is stagnation in life.
If you have a hard time cultivating a positive attitude, consider trying mindfulness meditation. This can help you create space in your mind to root our negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones.
Laughter is life’s best way to thrive in life. To get through the tough times in life, surround yourself with people who make you laugh and like laughing with you. Laughter is contagious, and you will soon find that when you are laughing lots, you are feeling more alive and hopeful about your future.
5. Embrace the Unpredictability of Life
Life is a strange and amazing journey, with many painful experiences and lots of beauty and joy. Running away from the challenges life presents to us is not the answer. When you run away, the only place you go is nowhere. The pain, discomfort, and challenges of life will follow you wherever you go.
It’s okay to fall apart, make mistakes, fail, and be disappointed, but you can only stay in this place for a short time. If you have a goal in mind, keep working to achieve your goal, despite the failures.
Resilient people expect to fail and be disappointed. They know that to be strong, one has to overcome the adversity and challenges they face in life. Courageous people choose to “bounce forward” in life and to keep moving toward living a happy fulfilled life.
Commit to becoming that courageous, resilient person you were born to be.
6. Focus on Things That Bring You Joy
“Find a place inside where there’s joy, and the joy will burn out the pain.” -Joseph Campbell
When you are feeling frustrated and hopeless, it’s easy to forget the good things in your life. If you allow yourself to be consumed by negativity, you will start to believe that there is nothing good in your life. Before you know it, that will become your reality.
If you really want to learn how to persevere, stop immediately and write a list of all the good things that you have experienced, and all the things that have brought you joy. The more you focus on the good in your life, the more hopeful you will become.
Showing appreciation to others and expressing gratitude are two actions that will bring joy back into your life.
One study found that gratitude was “demonstrated to be associated with increase in happiness, life satisfaction and social desirability”[2]. These all contribute to more resilience.
A great way to practice gratitude is by starting a gratitude journal. You can begin by writing three things each day that you’re grateful for. You can learn other ways to practice gratitude with this article.
7. Don’t Let the Past Rule Your Present
Your past presents an opportunity to learn the lessons you need to deal with in your present life. However, if you don’t let go of your regrets in life and make peace with your past, it is very hard to move forward in your life.
Look for opportunities for self-discovery, and learn how to trust and believe in yourself. When you are facing tough times in your life, ask yourself this question:
“What is the one thing I can do right now to take me one step closer to moving forward?”
All you have to remember is to take one step forward and keep repeating that one step. You will soon discover that you are closer to finding a solution. Remember, you’ve done difficult things before and have come out on the other side.
Don’t let all your past mistakes and fears cloud your judgement and diminish your courage. You are not defined by what happened in your past. You are who you choose to be now and in the future. Become the courageous, empowered, resilient person you were born to be.
5 Best Productivity Planners To Get More Done in 2020
1. Google Calendar
You may already use Google Calendar for appointments, but with a couple tweaks you can use it as a productivity planner.
Productivity assumes we have time to do the work we intend to do. So blocking time on your Google Calendar and designating it as “busy” will prevent others from filling up those spaces on your calendar. Actually using those blocks of time as you intended is up to you.
If you use a booking tool like Schedule Once or Calendly, you can integrate it with your Google Calendar. For maximum productivity and rhythm, I recommend creating a consistent “available” block of time each day for these kinds of appointments.
Google Calendar is free, web based and to the point. If you’re a bottom line person and easily hold your priorities in your head, this may be a good solution for you.
2. The One Thing Planner
The NY Times best selling book, The One Thing, just released their new planner. If you loved this book, you’ll love this planner.
