The state or situation of being alone without necessarily being "lonely."

The images I've captured over the past month show individuals in their very own ways of “being” within their environments; They are simply absorbing the world around them.
Solitude is usually known to be seen as something negative, where one would seem to be alone, without love, friendship, and relationships.
I hope my photos come to show that it is sometimes necessary to get back to that lonely isolated place known as silence. To disconnect from the noise of this world and reconnect with nature and with places where we have the freedom to just be.
