During July 2021 we invited visitors to escape on a flight to nowhere with our interactive installation ‘TAKEOFF’ exhibited at the - Merging fantasy with reality, it played on the iconic appearance of passenger aircrafts.

We had the privilege to join forces with the amazingly talented and beautiful who created a 360 surrounding projection around the installation.

She documented some moments on film before the installation opened to the public 📸 Again thank you Zohar for being part of this journey 🤍

Throwback to ‘XL Travelogue XS Manifestos’ with our drawing series as the result of a 40 days stay in Japan in Sep 2016 🇯🇵

Black ink on paper, dim. 50x70cm

Considered as a visual narrative of two foreigners in unknown territory, the story is an attempt of grasping the present time and space during the voyage and depicts the superposition and accumulation of content and memories.
The extra-small series exists out of 11 isometric drawings which comment on situations that occurred repeatedly throughout our stay in Japan. They seek to address multiple observed social and cultural manifestations and controversies which are highly-present in society such as loneliness, crowdedness, alienation and familiarity.
Here 3 out of 11 drawings: (1) the opening dinner, (2) the break, (3) the project review.

Flashback to 16 JULY 2019 ✈️
While experiencing a hyper mobile world, society is losing its ability to distinguish reality from a simulation of it. Considered as an experiment of physically rendering a three-dimensional model, an architectural space was downloaded and uploaded within an existing architecture. The model is a 1:1 scaled and completely hand cut section of an Airbus 320 airplane, made out of 1mm PVC sheets. The overall model and its photographed-portrayals seek to understand the significance of architectural representation.

Challenge accepted. 📦✈️
It has been a year since the start of this project. Designing and manufacturing a wooden curved fuselage for a flight simulator was indeed a challenge. We are very excited that the time has come to finally ship it to its final destination, before built-up next week! ❤️

DRAMA QUEENS

Located on Tel-Aviv’s poshest boulevard, this performance took place on 13 Oct 2018. Where? On a rooftop of one of the few untouched and neglected international-style buildings, waiting to be devoured by another real estate shark :-) The mirrored reflexions of our social self within the social setting sought to embody the perpetual tension that exists between who we ‘are’ and who we are ‘playing’, which controls our reality. To what extent are we truly free to be who we want to be?
