In this weeks parsha, Moshe sends 12 spies to scout out Eretz Yisrael before the Jewish people enter the Land.
They all walked through the same hills, saw the same cities, faced the same giants, brought back the same fruit. But they didn't bring back the same story. Ten spies returned with fear, saying the land is too fortified, the people too numerous, the mission too impossible. Yehoshua and Kalev see the same reality and say.. we will do this.
Today, we are living through our own version of that test.
We see the enemies.
We see the danger.
We see the price our soldiers and families are paying.
We see the pain.

But the question is... what story do we tell? Do we remember that this is our land, our people, our mission, and our promise?
Do we only see giants, or do see that we have Hashem fighting with us...for us?
Faith does not mean pretending there are no giants. Faith means seeing the giants and still saying: עָלֹה נַעֲלֶה We will rise. We will go up. We will overcome.
We will win! יחד ננח
Am Yisrael Chai!

As we step into a new week, we are reminded once again that Am Yisrael is not a people that gives up. We have carried light through darkness, faith through fear, and hope through every generation.

Here in Israel, every sunrise feels like a quiet miracle. The hills, the stones, the soldiers, the families, the tefillot, the simple everyday life... all of it tells the same story, we are home, and our story is still being written.

May this week bring strength to our soldiers, comfort to our families, healing to the wounded, protection for all of Am Yisrael, and good news from every corner of our land.

May it be a week of light, courage, and blessing for Israel and the Jewish people.

Back then in the desert, and still today in the Eretz Israel, the Torah of Israel and the soldiers of Israel go hand in hand, carrying light into a world that sometimes feels very dark.

May Hashem protect our soldiers, scatter our enemies, and may we all have a shabbat shalom.
