When you look at a map of the Middle East, Israel is just a tiny speck. It is a small nation completely surrounded by hostile regimes that loudly call for its destruction. By all human logic, this tiny country shouldn't be able to survive.

But Israel does not rely on human logic. The strength of this nation isn't in its physical size—it is in the unbreakable, God-given spirit of its people. We may be surrounded, but we are never broken. The resilience passed down from our ancestors is our greatest shield.

"The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace." (Psalm 29:11)

📸 A glimpse into a beautiful past—and a hopeful future.

This incredible photo was taken in Iran during the Jewish holiday of Purim in 1964. Two children stand side by side: a little girl proudly representing Israel, and a boy wearing the historic Lion and Sun flag of a free Iran.

The symbolism is deeply moving. The ancient story of Purim itself took place in Persia, celebrating the victory of light and life over a tyrant who sought to destroy our people.

Before the radical regime took power, our two nations shared deep ties and mutual respect. Today, as the people of Israel defend their home, we stand united with the free people of Iran who share our exact same dream: peace, freedom, and a Middle East free from terror.

Looking at these two children, we are reminded of what once was—and what can be again. Light always defeats darkness. 💙🇮🇱🕊️
