Great meeting with together for 🇮🇱

In Tel Aviv with my son today connecting with two guys who’ve been tirelessly fighting for Israel at the highest levels in this time of great need. A real honour.

Wishing all our friends a happy and light filled Hanukkah. Praying to the God of miracles to act again.

Today marks the 85th anniversary of what used to be the Jews darkest moment in recent memory. Kristallnacht. The night of broken glass -- a European pogrom against the Jews resulting in the destruction of 267 Synagogues, 91 murders and 30,000 arrests which led to the concentration camps. It is considered the precursor to Hitler's "Final Solution." One month ago, Israel and the Jewish people suffered an even darker day -- at least 15 times darker. In the past month, as sympathy for Israel in the wake of this horror has begun to wane, unbelievably, antisemitism has grown exponentially. Please pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for Jews all around the world, and especially for those who live in your community this week on November 9th and 10th.

My coffee view this summer. This is the Ella valley in the Judaean hills, the place where David fought Goliath and in his victory speech reminded all of us that “the battle belongs to the Lord.” Not a bad morning reminder.
