Maasai visit to Israel
“I am of the Maasai Nation in Kenya and my friend is of the Maasai Nation in Tanzania. We are warriors, you have a bar mitzvah, we must kill a lion with our bare hands to become a man. He than goes on the tell me how the lion is connected to Judah and King David.”
I’m thinking to myself, hmmm, I’m reading King David’s Psalms and he’s killing lions. We talk for almost an hour about many topics including: Religion, Fighting for our rights, Friendship and Loss.
