“I believe that a child should be educated in an environment that’s in sync with the home in which he has been raised.”
(Famous words of Rabbi Dov Levy z”l)

This sentiment encapsulates the essence of Seeach Sod:
Providing the special-needs child with quality care, in keeping with the values that dominate his home and community. Forty years have passed since these words have been uttered, but it

How do you sum up a year filled with friendship, acceptance, and belonging?
Saying goodbye to the girls of Machon Shoshanat Yerushalayim, a Chabad seminary, was bittersweet. We feel so grateful for the year we shared, and so excited to watch them grow into the incredible young women they are becoming. They will be deeply missed.

Connection is built over time.

Week after week, our volunteers from Yeshivat Mevaseret choose to show up with kindness, excitement, and love. Through their consistency and care, they form meaningful connections with the children at Seeach Sod, creating moments of joy, and belonging.

These relationships are a powerful reminder that simply showing up can change a life.

We believe everyone deserves a place where they belong. At Seeach Sod, we are fortunate to share our days with extraordinary children who remind us of that truth time and again. Through their unique perspectives, resilience, and determination, they show us the many ways a person can grow. They make our community stronger, and more compassionate - and their journeys inspire us every day.

The heart of Seeach Sod is the relationship between our students and our staff.

When children are met with patience, dignity, and genuine care, something shifts - they are able to grow in ways that are entirely their own. We are constantly in awe of what emerges when they are given that kind of space and so honored to get to grow right beside them!

Tehila is the kind of girl who won’t let anything stand in her way, and we feel so lucky to be a part of her journey. Watching her grow into an independent young woman in our high school is a true joy, and we can’t wait to see where she goes next.

As we prepare for Shavuot, we’re reminded that the Torah was given to every Jewish soul.
Not every connection to Torah looks the same. Sometimes it’s loud and joyful. Sometimes it’s quiet and simple. But the love, the connection, and the belonging are always there.
Watching this moment reminded us what receiving the Torah is really about.

Menucha Halevy may be finishing the year, but the connection she built will last far beyond it.
Through small moments - playing, talking, just being there - a meaningful relationship formed. The kind that doesn’t happen overnight, but grows with time, patience, and care.
These are the moments that matter most.
