ترميم كنيسة الأرمن – القديس غريغوريوس
الحي الالماني- القدس
1. التاريخ والاستخدام
شُيّد المبنى عام 1882 كبيت اجتماع للطائفة الألمانية في المستعمرة الألمانية. بعد عام 1948 نُقل إلى الطائفة الأرمنية الرسولية وأصبح يُعرف بكنيسة القديس غريغوريوس، ويُستخدم كمكان للعبادة والتجمّع المجتمعي.
2. العمارة
يعكس المبنى الطراز الألماني المعروف في أواخر القرن التاسع عشر (النيو-رومانسكي)، بجدران حجرية سميكة، وفتحات مقوّسة، وواجهة بجملون يتوسطها شباك دائري. وعلى خلاف الكنائس الأرمنية التقليدية، يتكوّن من قاعة مستطيلة دون قبة مركزية، مع تعديلات داخلية ليتناسب مع الاستخدام الكنسي.
3. أعمال الترميم
بسبب تسرّب الماء مي السقف وإهمال المحيط الخارجي، نُفّذ مشروع ترميم شمل أعمال تجديد طبقات السقف مع الحفاظ على القرميد الأصلي، صيانة النظام الانشائي الفولاذي، ترميم كامل للأرضيات والواجهات والنوافذ والأبواب، إضافةً إلى إعادة تأهيل التنسيق الخارجي لخلق بيئة ترحيبية جيدة التصريف للزوار.

Renovation of the Armenian Church- SAINT GRIGOR LUSAVORITCH
German Colony in Jerusalem
1. History and Usage
Built in 1882 as the Templer Community House, the building originally served the German Protestant colony in the German Colony. After 1948, it was transferred to the Armenian Apostolic community and became St. Gregory Church, serving as a place of worship and community gathering.
2. Architecture
The structure reflects late 19th-century German (Neo-Romanesque) architecture, with thick stone walls, arched openings, and a gabled façade with a central "oculus". Unlike traditional Armenian churches, it has a rectangular hall plan without a central dome, retaining its original form with internal adaptations for church use.
3. Restoration works
Due to severe roof leakage and neglected surroundings, a comprehensive restoration was undertaken. Works included renewing the roofing layers while preserving the original tiles, conserving the steel tie-rod system, restoring floors, facades, windows, and doors, and redesigning the landscape to create a welcoming and well-drained setting for visitors.

ضمن برنامج المشاركة الإيجابية للشباب (PYE)، قام مكتبنا بتصميم وتطوير عدد من المراكز الشبابية في مختلف أنحاء البلاد، بحيث تم تكييف كل مركز وفق السياق الاجتماعي والثقافي والمعماري الخاص به، وبما يتوافق مع المعايير الدولية للمساحات الآمنة.

المركز الشبابي هو بيئة مرنة وآمنة تتيح للشباب الالتقاء والتعلّم والإبداع والنمو. ومن خلال استراتيجيات تصميم — تشمل الأثاث، وتوظيف الألوان المتوازنة، والجدران التفاعلية، والمعالجة الصوتية، ودمج الأنظمة الكهربائية والميكانيكية — أصبحت هذه المساحات قادرة على استيعاب أنشطة متعددة في الوقت ذاته. ويتمثل دور المعماري في ترجمة أهداف البرنامج إلى بيئات معمارية ذات معنى، مرنة، مرحّبة، ومُمكِّنة للمجتمع.
As part of the Positive Youth Engagement (PYE) program, our office designed and developed various inclusive youth hubs across the country—each tailored to its social, cultural, and architectural context while meeting international Safe Spaces standards.

A youth hub is a flexible, safe environment where young people can meet, learn, create, and grow. Through hybrid design strategies—modular furniture, balanced color palettes, interactive walls, acoustic zoning, and integrated MEP systems—the spaces support multiple activities simultaneously. The architect’s role is to translate program goals into meaningful environments that are adaptable, welcoming, and empowering for the community.
