We’re often asked about the difference between compostable and biodegradable materials, and we love answering your questions - so keep them coming!

The main difference between compostable with biodegradable is that the term “biodegradable” represents a process, and the rate of decomposition can vary significantly, so it doesn’t guarantee how long, under what conditions, and into what something will break down. And yes, conventional plastic also biodegrades.
