We are proud to announce that Amy Zembrodt has been promoted from Flavorist Trainee to Associate Flavorist.

Since joining ZoomEssence in 2016, Amy has been training for an Apprentice Membership of the Society of Flavor Chemists. On October 14th, Amy’s goal was realized when she passed the difficult SFC Apprenticeship exam. The 3-hour exam consisted of a series of written, oral, and organoleptic testing by the SFC Membership Committee.

Amy has played an integral role in the growth of ZoomEssence by developing unique flavors and working on exciting project briefs. Additionally, Amy is a member of our Food Safety Team and internal Auditor for Food Safety practices.

Mostly, Amy is a beacon of kindness and friendship as she often hosts and celebrates birthdays, engagements, baby showers, and important milestones for other Zoomers. If there is a cake or luncheon happening at ZoomEssence, Amy is the person behind the scenes making the celebration happen.

Please join us in congratulating Amy on her achievement promotion! We are sending a huge shout-out to Susan Roth Wohlfarth our Director of Flavor Development for providing a supportive learning and mentoring experience for Amy to realize her passion to become a flavorist.

Be Concerned Food Pantry supports citizens of Northern Kentucky in need of life’s basic necessities. Since 1968, Be Concerned has served communities of Northern Kentucky free of charge through donations, volunteerism and heartfelt generous financial support. This support has helped maintain programs including a community food bank and thrift shop.

In this particular time of need and the additional challenges for Be Concerned to achieve its mission. We are privileged to be involved in the support of our community through Be Concerned. We encourage others to pledge their support of our friends and neighbors in need as well.
