Asset Management After Aliyah: Why Your Investment Strategy Needs to Change 05/07/2026

Moving to Israel changes more than your address - it can change your entire financial picture. https://youtu.be/nhoDA3zvn0s

In this clip, Baruch Labinsky explains why olim should think carefully about where their assets are held, what currencies they are exposed to, and whether their investment strategy still fits their new reality in Israel.

The key point: there is no one-size-fits-all answer.

Asset management after aliyah should be personalized around your income, expenses, long-term goals, currency exposure, and cross-border considerations.

Long-Term Investing: The Tower Semiconductor Story 28/06/2026

When Intel’s $5.4B acquisition of Tower Semiconductor collapsed in 2023, many braced for a downturn. Fast forward to 2026: Tower’s market cap has soared to roughly $30B - a 550% gain since the breakup. https://labinsky.com/ong-term-investing-tower-semiconductor/

For the sophisticated investor, the narrative goes far beyond a corporate comeback.

It highlights two critical portfolio management truths:

💡The Currency Mismatch Risk: If your long-term liabilities (housing, living costs, retirement) are in local currency like the Israeli Shekel, keeping 100% of your capital in USD creates massive structural exposure. True diversification requires matching your asset base to where you actually spend your life.

💡Operational Resilience vs. Headline Risk: Macro volatility often creates an irrational "headline discount." Companies with strong independent fundamentals frequently thrive right through geopolitical and economic pressure.

👉 The Takeaway: Lasting wealth isn't built by dodging short-term market friction, but by maintaining a disciplined, currency-aligned asset allocation.

Long-Term Investing: The Tower Semiconductor Story Tower Semiconductor: Why long-term investing, patience, and staying invested help investors benefit from market growth.

A broken deal can sometimes become a far bigger opportunity. https://labinsky.com/ong-term-investing-tower-semiconductor/

When Intel’s acquisition of Tower Semiconductor fell through in 2023, it looked like a major disappointment for shareholders. Less than three years later, Tower is worth far more than Intel originally offered to pay.

Its story is a timely reminder that long-term investing is rarely about reacting to every headline. It is about patience, ownership, diversification, and staying focused through uncertainty.

For Israelis and olim, it also raises an important question: should an investment plan reflect where you live, spend, and plan your future?

The financial math of Aliyah may have just changed.

A new Israeli tax law could make a meaningful difference for certain new olim and returning residents who become Israeli tax residents within the qualifying window.

For years, one of the biggest concerns around Aliyah has been financial uncertainty:

- What will I earn?
- How much tax will I pay?
- Will the numbers actually work?

This new legislation does not remove every challenge of Aliyah. It will not find someone a job, teach them Hebrew, or replace the need for careful planning.

But for some future olim, especially professionals and business owners with strong earning potential, it may significantly reduce one of the biggest barriers: the tax burden on Israeli earned income during the first years after making Aliyah.

At Labinsky Financial, we believe major life decisions should be approached with clarity, proper guidance, and a full understanding of the financial picture. For anyone considering Aliyah, this is the kind of change worth learning about and discussing with the right professionals.

If you know someone who has been thinking about Aliyah but hesitating because of the financial side, this may be an important article to share with them.

Labinsky Financial Client Survey 2025 23/04/2026

It may already be April, but we still wanted to share something important from our 2025 client survey at Labinsky Financial.

We asked our asset management clients for honest feedback, because we believe trust is built not only through long-term results, but also through transparency, accountability, and a willingness to listen.

We were grateful to receive 81 responses.
A few results that stood out:

- Overall satisfaction: 9.37/10
- Net Promoter Score: +77
- 79% of respondents were promoters

We do not see these numbers as something to boast about, but rather as a responsibility.

For us, the value of the survey is not only in the positive feedback. It is also in the opportunity to understand how clients experience our service day to day, where we are meeting expectations, and where we can continue to improve.

We are thankful to every client who took the time to respond and share their perspective.

Publishing these results matters to us because we believe openness is part of earning long-term trust.

One of the biggest mistakes in financial planning is assuming that doing nothing is the safer choice.

When it comes to currency exposure, many people delay decisions because they are waiting for a better rate, a clearer signal, or more certainty.

But waiting is also a decision, and it carries risk.

In his latest article, Baruch Labinsky explores a simple but important idea: good financial planning is not about finding the perfect moment. It is about making thoughtful decisions that reduce extremes, lower regret, and create greater stability over time.

Rather than treating currency like a prediction game, the article looks at how a gradual and balanced approach can help turn uncertainty into something far more manageable.

Because real financial confidence does not come from guessing correctly. It comes from being prepared either way.

Forecasts change. Markets shift. Logic does not always win. So what is the alternative?

In his latest article, Brent (Baruch) Labinsky explains why the smarter approach is not betting everything on one currency, but building a thoughtful currency strategy that reduces risk and regret.

Partial conversion, diversification, and alignment between your assets and your real-life expenses can make a meaningful difference to long-term financial stability.

Because financial planning should not feel like currency peculation.

After a market rises strongly, many investors begin to view it as an obvious opportunity. But by then, much of the upside may already be behind them.

That pattern repeats itself again and again - in equities, in real estate, and in other "hot" opportunities that attract attention only after strong gains.

This article looks at what happens when investors confuse past performance with future potential, and why a disciplined long-term approach is usually the wiser path.
