In today's digital landscape, AI is no longer "the future"—it is a fundamental tool for success. Mastering AI enables children to communicate effectively with technology; specifically, learning to prompt teaches them logic, clarity, and creative problem-solving. It is 100% here to STAY!
However, with great power comes responsibility. As schools integrate AI, we are teaching students that these tools are partners, not shortcuts. Understanding academic integrity, including how to properly reference and cite AI-generated content, is essential for ethical learning. Equipping them with these skills ensures they remain competitive, honest, and innovative digital citizens.

Good morning All,
Our last term of this academic year kicks off this coming week. If you haven’t already registered, please do so ASAP. We are sending out Zoom invites this weekend.
Our Kids Coder Club should now be stable. We were experiencing slow load page times with our hosting provider 😊, so we switched to a new one.
One former student configured the new server, and all our websites are developed and managed by former students 😊
Remember, New Members are welcome to our Monday Taster Term Classes.

📱 Why Every Parent Needs to Understand Coco’s Law
In today’s digital world, our children are growing up online — but do they (and we!) understand the laws that protect them?
Coco’s Law (The Harassment, Harmful Communications and Related Offences Act) makes it a serious crime to share or threaten to share intimate images without consent, and to send harmful or abusive messages online.
🚨 And this isn’t just theory — it’s happening right now:
Over 240 prosecutions have taken place since the law was introduced in 2021
75 cases were brought in 2025 alone, a rise of over 40%
Cases include individuals prosecuted for sharing or threatening to share images of minors and peers on platforms like Snapchat
This shows one thing clearly: young people are at real risk, and parents need to be informed.
💡 The challenge?
Many families don’t know:
What counts as illegal online behaviour
How quickly situations can escalate
How to set clear, safe digital boundaries at home
