My Material World sculpture is going on a 'World Tour'...(of the South East...!)
This September and October, thanks to the kind support of Wexford County Council and Waterford City & County Council, Material World will be touring libraries and county halls across Wexford and Waterford.
We've developed an engaging and thought-provoking interactive experience for schools and groups exploring sustainable fashion, textile waste, repair, reuse, upcycling and creative climate action.
Created entirely from discarded clothing, Material World invites participants to reflect on our relationship with fashion, consumption and the natural world, while discovering practical and inspiring alternatives.
The programme includes:
🌍 An artist talk and guided sculpture viewing
🌎 Repair and mending demonstrations
🌏 Upcycling demonstrations
🌎 A "Message to Mother Earth" activity
🌏 Interactive textile sustainability displays and examples

We'll be welcoming primary and secondary school groups throughout the tour and can't wait to share this important conversation with young people across the region.
A huge thank you to Wexford County Council and Waterford City & County Council for helping bring this project to life.

Tour takes place across Wexford and Waterford during Sept and Oct.
If you are interested in bringing a group and would like dates/more info please pop me an email [email protected]

Ground Rules - Regenerative Agriculture Seminar is back for the 4th year running. Taking place this Friday 12th June.

This year the event will be located in The Village at Wheelocks Y21YY67. The day will consist of presentations and learnings from Regenerative Farmers at different stages of their regenerative practice. Lunch will be provided.

Our speakers will include some of the people at the forefront of this movement.
Speakers include:

Thomas Stack, a dairy farmer who has embraced Korean Natural Farming techniques to bring his farm back to a very viable vibrant and healthy place. Thomas, using ferments of indigenous micro organisms (IMO's) has transformed his farm and has helped many others do the same. He runs courses through NOTS ( National Organic Training Skillnets)

Noel Higgins will be speaking about Biodynamic Farming - working with the cycles of nature - of when to plant, when to harvest and will talk about community farming too .

Fraser and Jonathon Rothwell are father and son dairy farmers just outside Enniscorthy. They are 2 years into their journey of Regen farming and are seeing some amazing improvements already on their land which they will share with us.

Ni Ibu is Brazilian born and living in Ireland since 2013. He is passionate about trees on the land and will discuss Syntropic Agriforestry

Robbie Byrne is an Agronomist who has led the charge bringing regenerative agriculture to a wider audience of farmers and general public alike. He works with farmers who are farming from a few acres to those who have thousands of acres. He has been successfully helping guide commercial farms to a more environmentally friendly but more viable future too. He is an active member of BASE Ireland and an excellent speaker.

It is set to be a great day and we hope that you can make it!

Spaces are limited and booking is advised.
