We are absolutely delighted to be chosen as one of the lucky recipients of the Dóchas will receive €11,000 this year which will help sustain evidence-based play, drama and creative arts therapy that supports the wellbeing and resilience of children aged 4-17 affected by their own or a close family members cancer.
Thank you so much to everyone who donated to the Toy Show Appeal. This is real community support in action and this will have a huge impact on the delivery of childrens services here in Dóchas.
What an incredible act of kindness and generosity from Emma.
On Saturday last, Emma donated 14 inches of her hair to Rapunzel after having 16 inches cut, a decision she made with remarkable courage and determination. Thank you to Cheveux Hair Salon Tullamore for supporting with this on the day. Anne Marie and all at Cheveux are huge champions of Dochas.
Emma’s fundraising journey was inspired by someone very special to her, her Uncle Matt, who encouraged and supported her plans before he sadly passed away.
We are absolutely delighted to share that Emma has raised over €3,600 for Dóchas Offaly Cancer Support Group. This amazing contribution will help us continue providing emotional support, counselling, complementary therapies, transport services, and practical assistance to people affected by cancer throughout Offaly and surrounding areas.
On behalf of everyone at Dóchas, thank you, Emma. Your kindness, bravery and generosity are truly inspiring.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Emma’s family, friends, and everyone who donated and supported her fundraising efforts. Your support makes a real difference to the lives of those we serve. ❤️
