Ah yes the classic game of "Pin the Horn on the Unicorn" (your welcome.....)🦄 It's being Birthday Week central at #SustLifeSchool so we thought we would share some Sustainable Tips (please share your own below) that worked for us💚 🚩Reusable Family Bunting - After years of intentions Dianes family finally invested in a Happy Birthday bunting that can be used for all birthdays and they are happy to lend out. This fab one was made by The Sew Box (https://www.facebook.com/TheSewBox79/) who also does memory bears (from old sentimental fabrics). 🥂BYO Cup or jam jar (for the adults) - As alfresco celebrations are very in season why not ask people to bring there own cup or glass depending on what you are serving. Cuts down on disposables and makes waste management a piece of cake (did someone say cake...???) 🎂Bake or Make the cake and snacks where possible- again cutting down on packaging and cost. 🎈Go Balloon Free - I know...They are fun and we sound like party poopers but when they float away theres little fun where they are going (or so a little birdy told us..). This can be tricker with children and sometimes a work in progress but Diane found once her daughter knew they can be harmful for the birds she set her sights on other important issues like snacks & games! 🎀Susty Favours - If you really don't want to go without why not try some of the sustainable options that also double up as activities from @paxwholefoodsecogoods [email protected]
