Creative Days Pre-school

Another Monday, another morning of new conversations, big ideas and outdoor exploration:-)🍃 ☀️😄

Our first full day in the garden today with both groups coming together to explore all the exciting treasures of our playpod!! This is our definition of child led play and we all absolutely love it:-)

Today in playschool we were all about the love for our mummies and all the women figures in our lives . We got busy with the ingredients to bake a very special cake for our mums to show them just how much we love them-messy, gorgeous delicious fun x

🍀 We started our week with a very cute St. Patrick’s Day sensory tray!

The children explored chickpeas dyed in the colours of the Irish flag, mini leprechauns, and little pots of gold.
They had so much fun balancing the coins and leprechauns, collecting the gold, and sorting the colours to create the Irish flag.

It kept everyone engaged for so long and there were lots of smiles, concentration, and happy little hands at work! 🌈✨

Another rainy day has led to our Junkart Bonanza at Creative Days. The children worked as one amazing team creating the most beautiful large scale art that encompassed their whole bodies moving, gathering and working together!! We can’t wait to paint it tomorrow 🎨🖌️👩🏼‍🎨🧑‍🎨💜

We are feeling the love today with our valentines cloud dough 💖

The children had so much fun exploring the soft, crumbly texture while searching for the hidden “diamond” love hearts. There wa s lots of excitement as they carefully scooped, poured and sifted through the dough!
They also enjoyed using their hands and heart-shaped cutters to create their own love heart shapes, strengthening their fine motor skills while expressing their creativity.

Today at playschool we explored sensory play with colourful rice💕❤️‍🩹using red and white rice,the children enjoyed filling heart shaped containers and creating their own imaginative designs -from ice creams and emotojis to “rock heart cakes “with secret ingredients like vanilla extract “ Malachi
This child led activity supported fine motor skills, creativity, language development and sensory exploration, while celebrating each child’s unique ideas and voice.
Lots of fun, learning and imagination all in one tray . ❤️❤️‍🩹💕

Messy, cooperative and full of learning-we had such a lovely morning:-)

Last Friday, Darragh suggested we do a puppet show… so today, that’s exactly what we did! 🧸🎭
The children took turns being performers and audience members, fully stepping into character with names, voices, and wonderful imaginations. There was clapping at the right moments, laughter when the jokes landed, and brilliant conversations, all while staying in character:-) We all had such a fun and imaginative morning🎪

I invited the children to build an obstacle course with me this morning-they may have taken me a bit too literally and went straight to the tool set:-) We’ve such great little helpers showing teamwork, creativity and so much enthusiasm 🔧🔨⚒️
