Four years ago the name Tip Toe Crossing was selected as one of the winning names for one of the three pedestrian crossings in the Pavilion Shopping Centre but it was this day four years ago when the largest of the three was officially given this name.

The Pavilions ran a competition to name each of their pedestrian crossings.
There were three winners were:
The first one is called "The Shoppers Run" which was named by Ben Byrne.
The middle one is called "Tip Toe Crossing" which was named by Heather Ruane and the last one is called "Pav's Crossing named by Billy Sexton.
The signes were put up on Saturday the 2nd of Febuary 2013.
