Mark Scallan was well rewarded when Harzwood was knocked down at โฌ100,000, becoming the seventh six figure lot at Thursdayโs May Point-to-Point & Horses in Training Sale.
The four-year-old was purchased as a Store in July 2025 for โฌ16,000, and was the third purchase of the day for Noel Fehily and David Crosse.
The Tattersalls Ireland Breeze Up Sale broke new ground last week, as records were broken across the board, and phenomenal trade was recorded at the one-day sale.
For the first time turnover exceeded โฌ12 million, while a record average of โฌ62,198 was a 13 per cent increase on 2025. The record median concluded at โฌ42,000, a 31 per cent increase on the corresponding figure 12 months previously, while a record five horses were sold for โฌ300,000 or more.
