Happy Christmas to all our members, families and friends.

On Monday evening we welcomed Chris Roche via Zoom as he delivered his beautiful talk “Devotion”. As Chris explains “Over five years I photographed both the intimate and epic nature of several faith traditions: private moments of prayer and meditation alongside monumental scenes with thousands of pilgrims in dramatic landscapes.” Chris took us through incredible landscapes while showing us the human side of life. The number of question from members was testament to an engaging presentation from Chris, illustrated through his stunning images.

We had high expectations for Julie’s talk and she didn’t disappoint. Julie opened a window into her artistic work, from conceptualisation to end result. We were also able to appreciate first hand Julie’s beautiful L and A panels that earned IPF distinctions. There was also lots of positive encouragement for members to go out and experiment and try something different. Overall an excellent evening. Julie Corcoran Conceptual Photographer
