Another day another adventure with Shamrockroutes ☘️☘️☘️,

Our guests from Colorado 🇺🇸🇺🇸 and Maryland 🇺🇸🇺🇸, first time in Ireland ☘️☘️ enjoyed an amazing trip from Dublin to the West Coast and back to Dublin….

Early start yesterday morning,we headed for Galway… Our first stop was the ever popular Sean’s Bar in Athlone… Dating back to 900 AD… Irelands oldest pub…. A quick stop a few photos and on we went…

We headed next towards The Burren … We visited the amazing Corcomroe Abbey… What an amazing building and stunning architecture… Again a few photos , guests enjoyed this visit…..

Back on the road we went through Ballyvaughan village.. Travelling the twisty tight road to Doolin… The spectacular views over the Atlantic… The Burren rolling down to the sea….An amazing place 350 million years old….

Our next stop was lunch in Mc Dermotts in Doolin… The girls loved the food , cottage pie and beef stew… Staff as usual friendly and helpful…

After lunch back on the road to the world 🌍 famous Cliffs of Moher… The sky was clear , could see the Aran islands … Birds were flying… This visit was a major hit with the ladies… Again lots of photos…

Next stop we visited the impressive Dromoland Castle… 🏰 … Overlooking the lake what an incredible place…The girls got photos and enjoyed this wonderful experience….

Last stop of the day before heading back to Dublin Bunratty Castle 🏰 and Folkpark…. They stepped back in time to see how Irish people lived over the centuries…. An incredible experience and again enjoyed their time in Bunratty….

Yesterdays adventure with Shamrockroutes ☘️☘️☘️… our guests from Chicago 🇺🇸🇺🇸.. were up early and ready to make more great memories ….

Left Killarney and headed east…. Our first visit of the day was Cobh (Queenstown) … This beautiful island town , overlooking Spike Island and the port were Titanic last left before it was sunk…. Our guests enjoyed a nice walk in the town…. Then we visited the very impressive St. Colmans Cathedral…. The amazing architecture and stained glass is breathtaking…. Then a light lunch in Cobh Heritage Centre … The food and service was fantastic….

After lunch our next visit was the world 🌎 famous Middleton Experience….. Our guests went on a 90 minute tasting tour… They really enjoyed this fantastic experience…. Lots of whiskey 🥃 was tasted …Lots of photos were taken…..

Our last visit of the day was the historical Rock of Cashel… Lots of great history and looked very impressive with a blue sky and a few white clouds ☁️….We took some lovely pictures … This was our last destination in what has been an action packed couple of days… We finished our day at The Maldron Hotel in Dublin Airport….

Yesterdays tour started in Killarney and travelled to Cork and finished in Dublin….Owner /Guide … Ambrose Mc Kay…..

Another day another adventure with Shamrockroutes ☘️☘️☘️, our guests from Chicago 🇺🇸🇺🇸…slowed the pace down today…. A little overcast and drizzle 🌧️ started the day… 9.30 am and we headed for Muckross…

At Muckross we met the one and only Ultan Breen…. The last of the older generation gentleman Jarveys..A great storyteller, historian but above all a great man… Before our guests headed off with Ultan photos were taken… Lots of laughing despite the weather 🌦️ .. Off they all headed on their 2 hour adventure around National Parks and the lakes..

After 2 hours I seen them coming back all with smiles and laughing…. Ultan once again doin what he does best , making memories and friends to last a lifetime….☘️☘️☘️…..

Back on the road , we head for Molls Gap , stopping along the way to enjoy the views and take some beautiful photos…. The natural beauty of Killarney National Parks is just out of this world 🌍 on wet 💦 or dry days ……

Next stop was in the beautiful little town of Kenmare…. Our guests enjoyed lunch , apparently the best fish and chips so far on this trip…. The food was amazing as usual and staff helpful as ever…

Back on the road , our guests decided to spend the rest of their afternoon lazing around Killarney town….A little bit of retail therapy ,set them up for an evening meal in the Tan Yard restaurant…..

Today’s tour started in Killarney travelling to Kenmare and back to Killarney…..Owner/Guide….Ambrose Mc Kay….

Another adventure yesterday with Shamrockroutes ☘️☘️☘️,

Our guests from Chicago 🇺🇸🇺🇸.. were up and at it early…They started the morning with an Irish traditional breakfast in the Killarney Plaza Hotel where they are staying….

Off we travel and our first stop was just outside Beaufort , Killarney Woolen Mills… The girls enjoyed the experience and different variety of wool products etc…. They came back smiling 😊

Onward we travelled towards Di**le… The sky was grey blue and white at the same time and the sun was shining….

Our next stop was the wonderful Inch Beach… Lots of people in and out of the water… Walking its miles of golden sand…. Our guests went for a relaxing walk….Lots of photos taken aswell….

Back on the road , they loved the patchwork quilt affect of the farmland along the Di**le Peninsula…We drove into Di**le and first stop was the local handmade jewellery store… Again they loved the selection of fine pieces….

Lunchtime was next on the list…A visit to The Pub bar and restaurant always fills our guests and always very satisfied…The staff as usual very helpful…

After lunch our guests spent a few hours visiting the little town and all its little shops and the odd bar along the way…They really enjoyed Di**le and back to Killarney for another night stay and mingle with the locals….

Yesterday was another adventure with Shamrockroutes ☘️☘️☘️…today our very special guests from Chicago 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸… left the (Big Smoke) Dublin Hotel to start their adventure and make memories to last a lifetime….While in Dublin the last 24hours they went wild , mad tattoos and whiskey 🥃 😱😱

Early start and West bound we travelled… First stop was only a few minutes from their Hotel, The Black Forge pub …. Owned by Conor Mc Gregor… William is a real UFC fan 👏👏…. He got invited into the pub and an opportunity to wear Conor’s winning belt….Like a big child for the rest of the day 😃 from ear to ear ….

Back on the road next stop the olde favourite Sean’s Bar in Athlone, Irelands 🇮🇪 oldest pub…. Everyone enjoyed the experience….

On we head and next stop was The Monks in Ballyvaughan , for lunch… As usual the food in the restaurant was very tasty…. Everyone enjoyed that stop…

We took the coast road for Doolin passing through 350 million years old The Burren… Sweeping down to the Atlantic what an awesome sight ….

Next the world 🌍 famous Cliffs of Moher… Nice and clear and calm… Such a beautiful place … nice pictures taken…. Also an opportunity to meet 3 Irish Wolfhounds… Their owner was a pure gent ,allowing our guests to get some nice pictures….

Back on the road, we took the Killimer /Tarbert ferry ⛴️, finishing our day in Killarney….

Another day another adventure with Shamrockroutes ☘️☘️☘️…This time our 4 wonderful guests came all the way from Chicago 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸….
Flight was nearly an hour late arriving…. Spoke with William back and forth for last few weeks before coming to Ireland 🇮🇪 ☘️☘️… He informed me his wife , his mother and his aunt, who travelled from Chile 🇨🇱 to be on this trip ,are Irelands 1 and only (EYNA )fans…
Once we hit the road a little drive took us down to Killiney….Then onto Victoria Road…. Suddenly the view of an 1840 Castle 🏰 appeared… Used to be called Victoria Castle 🏰….EYNA has owned the Castle since 1997…Today it’s called Manderlay Castle 🏰….We stopped and of course we took some beautiful photos… Everyone was very happy and excited….
With all that excitement sorted , it was time to head back to City Centre to the famous (College Green Hotel)…..
