Following in the footsteps of Zero Tolerance Dub
This is a SAFE PLACE

What does it mean to respect someone's boundaries?

It means accepting "no" the first time.
It means understanding that silence isn't consent.
It means respecting personal space.
It means recognising when someone is uncomfortable.
It means treating every person with dignity... every time.

Respect isn't complicated.
It's a choice.

Be the man who respects boundaries.
Every time 🤷‍♀️

This is the latest poster in Éist's Zero Tolerance campaign, encouraging men to lead by example and helping create a culture where everyone can enjoy a night out without fear of harassment, intimidation or violence.

We're inviting pubs, restaurants, cafés, hotels and nightclubs across Ireland to become Éist Zero Tolerance Venues.

By displaying our campaign, completing our Zero Tolerance Workshop and taking the pledge, venues can play a real role in changing culture.

Could your local become an Éist Zero Tolerance Venue?

👇 Tag a venue you'd like to see join the movement.

Together, we can make respect the standard... not the exception.

"Watch your drink." 🍺 🍷 🍸

How many times have women heard those words?

For years, we've placed the responsibility on women to protect themselves.

Maybe it's time we started speaking directly to the people who choose to perpetrate harm.

Be the man who doesn't spike drinks.

This is the second poster in Éist's new Zero Tolerance campaign, challenging the narrative that preventing sexual violence is solely a woman's responsibility.

We're now looking for pubs, restaurants, hotels, cafés and nightclubs across Ireland to become Éist Zero Tolerance Venues.

Participating venues will:

🟥 Display our campaign posters.
🟥 Complete our Zero Tolerance Workshop.
🟥 Publicly commit to creating safer spaces for everyone.

Protecting women and girls cannot be left to legislation alone.

Laws matter. Accountability matters. But so too does the role each of us plays in shaping the society we live in.

When misogyny is excused, celebrated or dismissed, it doesn't just harm one woman. It sends a message to every survivor watching. It tells them their pain is negotiable, their credibility is conditional, and their safety comes second.

As survivors, advocates, organisations and public representatives, we stand united in saying enough.

We all have a responsibility to challenge attitudes that normalise violence against women and girls, to speak up when others stay silent, and to create a culture where survivors are met with dignity rather than disbelief.

This is not about politics.
This is not about celebrity.
This is about the kind of society we choose to be.

Thank you to everyone who continues to stand with survivors and work towards a future where women and girls can live free from violence.

Rest in Peace Adina Raluca Constantin 🙏

Another life taken at the hands of violence. She should still be here. This is exactly why ZERO TOLERANCE is needed. Enough is enough. No more women losing their lives. We need to end violence against women.

We will say her name, and we will not stay silent. Rest in peace, Adina. You deserved so much more 🩵

Community walk organised to honour Mary Walker and to stand against violence | Westmeath Examiner 06/07/2026

Tomorrow evening. 7:00pm.

Tomorrow, our community will come together to honour the life of Mary Walker and to stand in solidarity with all those whose lives have been stolen, forever changed, or made unbearable through sexual and gender-based violence.

We invite everyone to join us.

📍 Meeting Point: 6:45pm at the entrance to the Canal Line, opposite Mullingar Railway Station.
🚶 Walk Begins: 7:00pm, as we walk together to the place where Mary tragically lost her life.

This walk is, first and foremost, about remembering Mary. But it is also about recognising every woman, girl, and every person whose life has been impacted by violence. It is about acknowledging the devastating human cost of abuse, supporting those who continue to live with its effects, and ensuring that those we have lost are never forgotten.

Together, we send a clear message: violence has no place in our homes, our relationships, or our communities.

By walking side by side, we honour Mary's memory, remember all victims, stand with survivors, and reaffirm our collective commitment to building a future where everyone can live free from fear.

We hope you will join us.

Because remembrance matters. Community matters. And together, we say: No to violence.
