Sunflower Cafe at Riverside

We are absolutely devastated to have heard yesterday of the passing of one of our own. Pauline was a true lady in every sense of the word, and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to her family & many friends who she doted on.

Pauline made us laugh out loud every single day, and we spent more time in hysterics than we did actually working. Our morning breakfast table banter left us all in giggles before the start of every day. She was the boss in the kitchen, keeping us all in check, but always with a smile and a cheeky wink.

Pauline was a dear friend first and foremost, and I’m missing the chats already, but I know she will always be watching down on us all with that famous smile.

A little piece of sad news on a lovely sunny day. The Sunflower Cafe @ Riverside will close permanently on Sunday 4th October due to circumstances beyond our control.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks & appreciation to all of our loyal customers who have supported us throughout our time at Riverside, you guys are what made the place fun & a pleasure to work in & we will miss you all everyday.
We would also like to thank Patrick & Margaret at Riverside who have encouraged and supported the business from the outset, and we wish them & indeed everyone at Riverside the very very best for the future.
