📸✨ LEGO Photography Competition 2026: Little People, Big Moments ✨📸

We're challenging young photographers across Cavan and Monaghan to get creative and capture a "Little Person, Big Moment!"

The challenge is simple: place your LEGO character in the real world and capture a photograph that tells the story of a big moment. Whether it's a celebration, an achievement, an adventure, or a special memory, show us how even the smallest characters can be part of life's biggest moments.

Whether it's:

⭐ A Lego volunteer helping their community
⭐ A minifigure celebrating with friends
⭐ A Lego photographer capturing a big moment
⭐ A minifigure reaching the top of a hill/mountain
⭐ A Lego musician playing to a crowd
⭐A Lego builder "repairing" a local landmark
⭐A Lego photographer taking pictures of a community event
⭐A minifigure setting off on a big adventure
..use a LEGO minifigure and your imagination to recreate a moment that matters!

🏅 Fantastic Lego prizes to be won
📷 Open to young people across Cavan and Monaghan
🎉 Winning photographs will be showcased as part of Youth Night 2026

So grab your camera, find your LEGO figures, and start creating!

Our next guest announcement is The Amazing Ross Beadman.

Ross played everyone's favourite little jedi youngling who had a brief but infamous encounter with Anakin Skywalker in Revenge of the Sith.

We'll be talking to him about his experiences joining the Star Wars universe at such a young age and also becoming one of the most well known memes of all time.

"But Master Skywalker, theres too many of them, what are we going to do?"

Monaghan Comic Con 2026 is a free entry event at the Peace Campus on 24th October.

We recently attended the launch of The Link Up organised by WheelWorks which brings together young people from Armagh and Monaghan to produce podcasts using their own voices and experiences. The podcasts will be launched in June/July next year.

It was great to see all the young people collaborating and learning about podcasting, writing, sound effects and music mixing as they start their creative journey together.
