Midleton Hillwalking Club

You can see that Midleton Hillwalkers take themselves extremely seriously. 🤣 Mary led a walk around Castlemartyr and its outdoor sculpture exhibition. There was some interactive art going on followed by tea and cake served in Mary's back garden.

A bit of soft rain didn't stop 20 walkers on St. Declan's Way in West Waterford with múinteoir Ruth leading the way.

Perfect weather for weekend walks on Bere Island and on Dursey Island, making the 10 minute trip on Ireland's only cable car and the only cable car that crosses open seawater in all of Europe. Aren't we lucky to live in such a gorgeous country and to explore it with such gorgeous people? Thanks to Mary and Michael for leading and sharing their local knowledge.

One perfect picture from Sharon's Sunday B walk in the Galtees. 13.5kms. 880m of ascent. Five hours. An impressive group of women!

We don't have to go far to find a lovely walk on a Wednesday evening. Ruth led this one in Rostellan last night, with a history lesson thrown in at no charge.

Blustery & beautiful walk on Sheep's Head on Sunday led by Ruth.
