The poor old spark plug leads a pretty hard life and takes a beating day in and day out yet it's also often overlooked when it comes to general engine maintenance - Until it starts suffering from a misfire that is.
On the right is one of the original spark plugs we pulled out of our Nissan 350z after we took ownership of it. Unsurprisingly the freshly fitted plug on the left gave it a new lease of life on the dyno - No misfire, more power, and a smoother power curve. Easy!
