Meet Monica – Our Star Accounts Assistant (and Proud Aunty!) 🌟
Monica joined us in March 2023 and has been growing her role ever since, constantly surprising us with her skills and dedication.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (NFQ Level 8) and over 10 years of experience in Controlling, Accounting, and Accounts Payable & Receivable, Monica brings expertise, precision, and a results-driven mindset to everything she does. Her work is organized, efficient, and always earns glowing feedback from our clients.
But Monica is more than just an incredible professional – she’s also a wonderful friend, a proud aunty, and a keeper of traditions! You’ll often spot her with her beloved Chimarrão (a traditional green tea), a little taste of home she shares with the team.
We’re so lucky to have Monica as part of our Accounting Pro family. Her dedication, positivity, and commitment help us reach our goals every single day.

And today is the day to shine a spotlight on 𝑅𝒶𝒻𝒶𝑒𝓁 𝒜𝓇𝒶𝓃𝓉𝑒𝓈, our incredible Accounts Manager here at Accounting Pro.

Rafa is an integral part of our team, expertly managing and directing his team to support both client accounts and our internal accounting.

Beyond his core responsibilities, Rafa works closely with clients on their business expansions and development, consistently finding the perfect solution to any challenge. He’s not only exceptional at his job but also one of the most organized people you’ll ever meet.

Originally from Brazil, Rafa brings a kind, caring, and hardworking spirit, shaped by his teaching background. He’s also a devoted animal lover and Dad to his beloved dog Titan who consistently goes above and beyond for our four-legged friends. Rafa adds fun, joy, and style to our days, all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism in his work.

With all these wonderful traits, it’s no surprise that Rafa has many fans within the Accounting Pro family. We are truly blessed to call him a colleague, mentor, friend, and family.

We’re excited to introduce you to Kevin Deasy, the CEO of Accounting Pro. While his name is synonymous with our success as an international provider of contractor accounting, outsourced payroll, and trade finance solutions, leveraging advanced IT platforms and analytics, we wanted to share a bit more about the man behind the vision.

Kevin’s journey to leading Accounting Pro is truly inspiring. After studying Business and Japanese at the University of Limerick, he gained a solid foundation in economics and even completed a course in personnel management. However, his passion led him to the dynamic world of investment banking in London, a path he acknowledges isn’t for everyone.

His extensive career in various funding services saw him take on significant roles across London, Frankfurt, and Ireland with prestigious institutions like Deutsche Bank and Barclays Capital. Through these experiences, he gained invaluable insights into the challenges faced by contractors and the solutions they needed.

Driven by the entrepreneurial spirit of the Deasy family and his lifelong dream of running his own business, Kevin launched Accounting Pro in November 2016. He combined his vast experience in banking and IT with a deep understanding of market needs to create the innovative company we are today.

Outside of leading Accounting Pro, Kevin is a proud Corkman who enjoys sports, nature, and, most importantly, helping people. He and his partner, Barbara, are also raising two wonderful girls 👯, Penny age 10 and Hannah age 7 and their adorable cockapoo Séamie 🐶

What can we say about TINA - Terrific Interesting Natural Amazing. Tina is one of life’s Dynamos - she keeps going and going and going. She also sees the bright side of everything - her motto is

𝓘𝓯 𝓵𝓲𝓯𝓮 𝓰𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓼 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓵𝓮𝓶𝓸𝓷𝓼, 𝓶𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓵𝓮𝓶𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓭𝓮 🍋

Tina’s journey to AP has been a triumph of success, hard work and determination to do the best for employees and clients alike. She has always delivered in her working life whenever she has gone. Tina has managed many recruitment businesses and taken them from opening doors to high profits. She also turned around struggling agencies and made them a success. A high point in her career has been running payroll for Amazon Cork where she managed the onboarding, training and payroll of hundreds of contractors. She even impressed Jeff Bezos by all accounts - no mean feat!

Tina then went on to set up her own Agency and enjoyed many successful years working with high-calibre clients in Ireland and Internationally.

Tina has helped many outside of the world of work too. She has helped with many charities, not-for-profits and environmental efforts such as the World Beach cleanup (where she organises the Cork beach cleanup). She even mentors lots of 2nd level kids so they can make good third-level choices to support their career aspirations.

Tina came to AP as she is on the board of BITA with a fellow AP Director and their mutual sense of personal and business ethics meant that working together made sense. Tina is admired by everyone at AP and has taken the operation to a different level.

At home, Momma T is a Mom to twins 👫, themselves high achievers - Eva and Josef, pushing the boundaries inspired by their Mom to make a difference in the 🌍 Married to Jim, 🧍🏻a true gentleman, she resides in Cork with their fur baby 🐶 - JoJo the Jack Russell.

A massive thank you to Brazuca United Football Club for their fantastic volunteers who spent some quality time with the children from Our Lady of Lourdes primary school here in Limerick!

Around 80 students had an amazing time learning some top soccer ⚽️ skills and drills from the players, and it looked like they had a lot of fun doing it! The highlight for many was the “hit the crossbar” 🥅 competition with each group, where the winners proudly received a Brazuca cap. 🧢

Accounting Pro was delighted to sponsor snacks 🍬 and drinks 🧃for all the children to keep their energy levels up throughout the afternoon.

A special thank you goes to Mary Maguire, Vice Principal of Our Lady of Lourdes, and all the wonderful teachers for their help in creating this special event. Your support was invaluable! 💪🏻
