🌍🏳️‍🌈 This World Refugee Day, we honour the courage, resilience, and strength of people who have been forced to leave their homes in search of safety, freedom, and the chance to build a better future.

For many LGBTI+ refugees, displacement is only part of the journey. They often face additional barriers, discrimination, and isolation simply because of who they are. Everyone deserves to live openly, safely, and with dignity.

At GOSHH, we are committed to creating welcoming and inclusive spaces where people can find support, connection, and community. Through counselling, training, and our LGBTI+ social groups, we work to ensure that nobody has to navigate these challenges alone.

Today, we celebrate the contributions, stories, and resilience of refugees in our communities. We also reaffirm our commitment to standing alongside those seeking safety, belonging, and acceptance.

If you or someone you know would benefit from support around gender identity or sexual orientation, please contact us at 061 314 354 or email at [email protected]

On World Refugee Day (and every day) we stand in solidarity with refugees and asylum seekers across the world.

Because everyone deserves safety. Everyone deserves dignity. Everyone deserves to belong. 🌈

This Irish AIDS Day, GOSHH remembers those who lost their lives to AIDS-related illnesses and honours the families and communities who remember them today.

As chair of the Fast-Track Cities Limerick HIV Initiative, GOSHH is working with partners across Limerick and the Midwest to help achieve zero new HIV infections and zero HIV-related stigma by 2030.

Today, effective HIV treatment allows people living with HIV to live long, healthy lives and prevents onward transmission (Undetectable = Untransmittable). Prevention options such as PrEP, free condoms, and testing are available at GOSHH and across Ireland.

If you are a person living with HIV and interested in having your voice heard in the development of a plan to eliminate new HIV transmissions and HIV-related stigma, then please scan the QR code above or go to: https://forms.office.com/e/FMyXXyHHBi

Together, we can end new HIV transmissions and HIV-related stigma! ❤️ =U
