🚨 Fraudulent Websites Impersonating Irish Businesses—Know Your Rights! 🚨
This morning on Limerick Today with Joe Nash on Live 95FM, we discussed a growing issue affecting small Irish businesses: fraudulent websites posing as legitimate retailers, deceiving customers, and damaging reputations.
💼 If your business is impacted, here’s what you can do:
🔹 Report the website—contact hosting providers, domain registrars, and consumer protection agencies.
🔹 Engage legal protections—trademark registration can help safeguard your brand online.
🔹 Reach out to Gardaí—while international scams are complex, local authorities may provide guidance.
🔹 Monitor social media ads—flag misleading promotions that could harm your reputation.
🔹 Educate customers—help them verify businesses before making purchases.
