Huge thanks to everyone who attended the opening of PeakShow at Limerick Museum on Tuesday evening - absolutely delighted with the turnout and a wonderful opportunity to cheers our three amazing artist awardees Sian Costelo, Alex Holzinger and Hazel Egan.

Sian Costello

Using the bizarre structures of analogue image-making, Sian’s current paintings and photographs explore the limits of portraiture. In documenting the process through various forms of photography: pinhole, camera obscura, slide film, and video, Sian finds the greatest potential for paint in the “mistakes” in exposure, positioning and even tangled set-ups.
