The Den Kilcornan

Straight back into things, following on from our curriculum, the children have been engaged in activities of interest. As you can see, children have similar interests but also very different. So we have a big variety of activities taking place.

Happy Friday. All the centres have been learning about different cultures through craft and research. As the weather improves, we are happy to head out doors. This week has been all about team building through games and role play.

Happy Friday everyone. Our new hair dressing studio is up and running, feel free to pop in for a cut 😃 . Love is in the air, as beautiful Valentine presents are being made. Big shout out to everyone for their kind donations at the Christmas Fair, €1000 was donated to the wonderful Children's grief center.

As we come to the end of
January the children and educators have been finishing up some projects. New interests are coming in February.
We had bumbleance visit on Friday, they were very kind in showing the children around and answering all their questions, we were delighted to donate the money from the Christmas Fair of €1180 to such a amazing service.
The cooking classes are going very well, yummy treats made by the children each week.
We welcomed some new educators in the team in the last few weeks. Meabh, Caoimhe and Lucy, they are getting to know the children and families, we are very happy to have them on board.
Thank you to Aoife for taking the time to teach us how to make our St Brigid crosses.

Welcome back, everyone. Happy New year.
We had plenty of fun chats with the children about their presents from Santa. To start off our new year, we began our new year goals. Time was spent playing with all the presents that each centre got over the Christmas. Card games, nail art and many more. New plans have been put in place with the children about the environment set up and interests. See you all next week. Happy Birthday to all our friends celebrating this Month.
