Castleconnell Parish Hall

Huge work done at the parish hall today, and on the surrounding areas in what is the most important time of the year for our hard working Castleconnell Tidy Towns Committee. If you can give them a hand in their retention of their silver medal, or progressing to a gold, please make contact with them.

There won’t be a Darkness into Light walk hosted by the Castleconnell Parish Hall Committee this year unfortunately as we didn’t have enough volunteers to make it happen. We hope to be back next year but would really like to do it as an official walk. We’ll be making representation to Pieta House on our own behalf and if you’d like to support us in our endeavour, please feel free to email [email protected] and endorse us, the Castleconnell Parish Hall committee, in our campaign to host it and organise it in the village next year.

The Parish Hall Committee are proud to have brought Darkness into Light to the village of Castleconnell for the last two years. We are a small committee of volunteers and unfortunately, it’s not possible for us to continue bringing this great event to the community without the help of additional volunteers. As we explore the next phase of our restoration, the Parish Hall Committee are looking to engage the professional services of a Structural Engineer to consult with us on our next steps.
