🚨 First Aid Responder Course🚨
Registration Monday 15th June from 7:30pm! Details below 👇🏻👇🏻

This PHECC certified course which is valid for 2 years and covers the following first aid skills:

Introduction to first aid
Patient assessment
Cardiac first response [CFR]
Common medical emergencies such as Diabetes, Epilepsy,
Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
Injury management and shock
Care of the unconscious patient
Burns and electrical injury care
Hypothermia and hyperthermia
Information management
Critical Incident Stress Management
Our course also includes hands-on training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and other important first aid skills.

We had a busy Saturday in Limerick! While many of our members were either sitting or assisting with EFR exams, other Limerick volunteers assisted our Clare neighbours with a Triathlon duty in Killaloe! Busy busy red & yellow bees 🐝🚑🤣

Yesterday's Circuit of Munster Motorsports Rally went off without a Hitch! 😉🤣 Large events like this require multiple IRC branches to work together, and that they did! Yesterday's volunteer roster included Drivers, EMTs, and Paramedics from Cashel, Ennis, Newcastle West, Doon, and Limerick City, not to mention a borrowed ambulance from Kilmallock! Well done team! 🤩
