🌸 First Week Complete as owners of Lawless Flowers! 🌸

What an incredible first week as the new owners of this beautiful business! We couldn’t be more grateful to our amazing team who poured their hearts into this week in the face of the emotions of Dan & Clive retiring , every customer smile, and every detail that makes Lawless Flowers so special, you did it this week.

Your hard work, dedication, and passion this week has been nothing short of inspiring. To celebrate and say a huge thank you, we treated the team to a well-deserved lunch in Lana. It was the perfect moment to relax, laugh, and reflect on an unforgettable first week together.

Here’s to many more weeks of growth, creativity, and beautiful flowers ahead! 💐

Today marks a very special day for our family — a day we’ve been working towards for quite some time. Today, Joe and I are handed the keys to Lawless Flowers as the new owners. But before this new chapter begins, we first get to celebrate my incredible uncle Dan on his very last day in the shop… although I have a feeling we’ll still be calling him back in every now and again 🤣

People often speak to me about my Nana Nancy and the legacy she created when she founded the business in 1982, but my own memories of the shop are filled with Dan and Clive. From visiting the old shop on Bedford Row as a child, to later working there myself, and then years later my husband Joe joining the team for the last 7 years — the shop has always been a huge part of our lives.

Lawless Flowers has never just been “a flower shop” to our family — and I know it hasn’t been that way for so many others either. Dan has always had a way of making people feel welcome. Many of his nieces and nephews, myself included, spent different periods of our lives working in the shop. We probably weren’t always needed, but somehow Dan always found jobs for us to do. The shop became more than just a workplace — it became a place full of memories, laughter, life lessons, hard work, and family.

The dedication, care, and heart Dan and Clive have given this business over the years is impossible to put into words. Through every wedding, celebration, and difficult goodbye, they were always there with kindness and care.

While today marks the end of an important chapter, it also marks the beginning of a new one, as the business is passed on to the next generation of our family. Joe and I feel incredibly honoured to continue what my Nana Nancy first started all those years ago.

To Dan and Clive — thank you for everything ❤️
