Our “Irish Writers” Event will be held in the Popular Reading Room of the Glucksman Library in the University of Limerick on Monday 25th July at 7pm. The writers who will be reading are Celia de Fréine, Louis de Paor, and Ciara Ní É.

We will have an evening of readings from some of UL's award-winning writers on Thursday 28th July at 8pm!
The event will be held at King John's Castle and is being kindly supported by Limerick City and County Council.
The writers who will join us are Donal Ryan, Helena Close, William Keohane, Sheila Killian, Lia Mills, and Lauren Preston.
This will be a fantastic event so be sure to be there!

Let's recap on the wonderful events we've got lined up at this year's IASIL Conference 2022.
A spoken-word event with live traditional Irish music will take place at Dolan's Pub, Limerick City on Wednesday 27th July at 9pm.
Our speakers include Felispeaks, Eoin Devereux, Sarah Clancy, and Dubhán Ó Longáin.
It promises to be a brilliant night and we can't wait to see you all there!

Meet our plenary speakers:
Professor Patricia Palmer, Professor of Renaissance Literature at Maynooth University and Principal Investigator of the MACMORRIS Project.
Dr. Zélie Asava, a lecturer and public speaker on race, gender, and representation in screen studies.
Dr. Fiona McCann, Professor of Postcolonial Literature at Université de Lille and a Junior Fellow at the Institut Universitaire de France.
Professor Ríona Ní Fhrighil, lecturer in Modern Irish at NUI Galway whose research has focussed on Irish women’s poetry, representation, and translation.

We are delighted to announce that we'll have two wonderful theatrical performances at this year's IASIL 2022 Conference!
"The House" is produced and directed by Dr. David Clare, written by Anne Devlin, and stars Robyn O’Riordan.
"West" is written by Ursula Rani Sarma, and stars James Corr.
We look forward to seeing them in action at
