On Saturday, the Riverbank Clean-up 2022, organised by the UL Environmental Committee, took place.
UL staff & students volunteered alongside community groups, businesses and local residents to make the riverbank a cleaner and safer space for all.

Monday was the 1st day of our UL Engage and SSPC Knowledge for Change programme with the pupils of Gaelscoil Sheoirse Clancy. Our programme will teach the children about the research process and support them as they undertake independent research in their school community.

Staff, students and parents from the University of Limerick and Corpus Christi School, Moyross outline their experiences from the Health Alliances for Practice-Based Professional Education and Engagement (HAPPEE) project.
The HAPPEE project facilitates UL health professional students to carry out their practice placements in school as opposed to clinical settings. The intention is to benefit the community by increased early identification of need, reducing non-attendance for interventions, and providing services in communities with community support; and to benefit UL by creating new and sustainable student placements.
