🚌 Transport Ireland Conference 2026 🚌

TFI Local Link Limerick Clare were delighted to attend the Transport Ireland Conference in Croke Park last week.

The Conference heard from key speakers including Minister for Transport Darragh O'Brien TD, Lorcan O'Connor, Chief Executive of TII, Anne Shaw, Chief Executive of the NTA and Michael Power, Head of Transformation with Iarnród Éireann amongst others.

Discussions included progress on Luas projects, Active Travel, the Critical Infrastructure Act, accelerating advancements in rail infrastructure and the role of ports in offshore wind.

The 30th Mountshannon Arts Festival is in full swing this June Bank Holiday weekend, with something to suit all tastes in the picturesque town.

Events throughout the weekend include, live music in the pop-up marquee, a community market with a host of stalls, children’s events such as storytelling, art workshops, drum and dance, literature events, pop up art galleries, water sports, walk and talks and so much more.

A wristband that offers so many of these events for free is €10 for adult, €5 for child or €25 for family.

🔊Burren Marathon Challenge 2026🔊

Due to the Clare Burren Marathon Challenge, there will be several disruptions to the 331 & C23 services on Friday 22rd May and Saturday 23rd May.

TFI Local Link bus stop will move from Burren Atlantic Hotel to Ballyvaughan Church Car Park

No pick up/ Drop Off from Burren Atlantic Hotel at these times:
