Our Parent Peer Support Group has arranged for to deliver a half day Occupational Therapy workshop for parents of children with additional needs on 6th May, recognising the significant demand for support in this area. There are a few spaces remaining if anyone would like to join, please dm us and we will get you signed up. Limited places!

🌟 Are you a Kinship Carer? 🌟
Kinship care means children are raised full‑time by grandparents, older siblings, aunts, uncles, relatives, or close family friends when their parents are unable to care for them.

💛 This can happen for many reasons, including:
• Loss of a parent
• Parental substance misuse
• Illness
• Imprisonment
• Abandonment
• Or other challenging family circumstances

🏡 Kinship care can be temporary or permanent, and may be arranged formally or informally.

🤝 We’re teaming up with Croom Family Resource Centre CLG to host a welcoming Kinship Care Morning:
📅 Monday 13th April
📍 Northside Family Resource Centre
⏰ 10am – 12pm

☕ We’ll have refreshments and a warm, non‑judgemental space where you can connect with others who understand the journey.

The Community Families Programme was delighted to take part in the International Women's Day celebrations in Rathkeale again this year! Thanks to Rathkeale Together for including us in this wonderful celebration.

Our International Women's Group in Henry Street celebrated 115 Years of International Women's Day by displaying their amazing art piece, which recognised each woman's country and native language.

We had a lovely morning together celebrating the day! 🎨

Our team can:
• Assist with paperwork when applying for domestic abuse orders
• Offer compassionate emotional support
• Provide information and guidance on safety planning
• Support you with applications for legal aid

We're hiring for a Community Families Home Visitor with a specific remit to work with families experiencing homelessness. This is a new position, and it is an opportunity to do work meaningful work to support families, as part of a creative and supportive team.
