Go Active Fishing Guided Float Trip - 6 Day/7 Night
If you are more in tune with nature and would rather spend your days floating down river on a raft, evenings setting up camp and sleeping in tent under the stars, then our float trip package is right up your ally. You will be dropped off with your guide at the source of the river and picked up miles downstream 7 days later. You will be expected to help with the setting up and breaking down of camp each day as well as other daily chores. Like our lodge based packages you will arrive on Sunday, fish Monday through Saturday and depart on the following Sunday. All meals included. Minimum 2 anglers, Maximum 4 anglers.

Okavango River

The Okavango River flows for 1,600 km (990 miles) and contains the only inland delta in the World. This particularly unique habitat is brought about by the hydrological influences of the river flowing through Namibia and Angola eventually reaching Botswana.
The flooding waters create a seemingly endless area of lagoons, winding rivers, oxbow lakes, floodplains and papyrus islands within the Okavango delta. The area is vast and at its largest covers well over 16,000 square kilometres.
The area is rich in diversity with a truly remarkable ecosystem which facilitates a massive nursery area for prey species. The delta water area is reduced seasonally by over 7000 square kilometres and it is this time when the displaced prey species are at their most vulnerable. The tigerfish await these conditions and, with a massive density of preyfish present, the large predatory tigerfish feed aggressively. Click on photos to learn more.

Jeremy is well known as an England International all-rounder and captain, with over forty years of fly fishing experience. He is also a fully qualified fly fishing instructor to APGAI level and a guide to some of the most beautiful locations in the world for wild brown trout and grayling.
