Well, we think Rex and Posy have had the lotto win!!
They are settling in well, and have already had a long walk on the beach today.
Thank you to Susan and Tony for adopting the pair of them, and also the fabulous Shirley Sadler for fostering Posy until Rex was ready to travel.

Rex having a last leg stretch on Irish soil, before getting the ferry and then driving through the night, to beat the heat, to his new seaside home in the UK.
We're meeting Posy, who has been in foster with Shirley Sadler , in the morning, and Rex and Posy are being homed together!
Both are fabulous with other dogs so we hope it's a match made in heaven!!

I'm approximately 3 years old and I came into rescue as an unclaimed stray.
I've settled into my foster home well, and I love people and other dogs.
I'm improving all the time with my housetraining and lead walking.
I am a very good boy in my crate and I love a good snooze!!
I'm ok with dog savvy cats, but no poultry or livestock for me please.

A beautiful genuine red leather Radley handbag has been kindly donated to the rescue shop next to Murphys Supervalu Kenmare.
It will be available from Thursday this coming week and we are hoping for 40 euros. A bargain for someone!!

UPDATE,
OWNER HAS COME FORWARD. REST OF FAMILY HOME TOO.
This little puppy was found straying in Blackwater, with his mother and siblings.
They ran off but he came over and his finders were able to keep hold of him.
If you know who the mum and pups belong to please message the page asap.
They were near a road and in danger of being run over.
The puppy is safe with his finders, who are also going to leave food out for the mum and other pups.
The harness belongs to his rescuers!

Two beautiful black and white Collies have recently come into the rescue.
Cooper, on the left, is an unclaimed stray. He is now settling into his foster home and learning how to live as part of a family. He is crate trained already, and is quickly learning how to walk on a lead.
He loves people and other dogs, and is slowly being introduced to dog savvy cats!!
Kate, on the right, is an 11 year old retired working sheep dog. She is described by her foster family as an absolute dote. She is very friendly and good with other dogs.
Applications will soon be open for these 2 fabulous dogs.
If you haven't the energy for a puppy, then either Cooper or Kate may suit you well!!

Fabulous update pics from Rog, Spike and Rosie , who all went to their new forever homes in the last week.
Lots of happy faces, and little Rosie looking like a supermodel after her bath.🥰😍

Four gorgeous 10 week old kittens, black with stunning green eyes.
3 boys, Lenny, Peppa and Skype, and one little girl Lena.
They are getting their first vaccinations on Saturday.
We have a subsidised neutering plan in place for when they are old enough.
Well socialised, happy, healthy kittens looking for their new homes.
