Kenmare Animal Rescue

Sadly no applications for our little kittens😪.
They would make fabulous family pets, or would be equally happy as barn cats, with food and shelter.
Vaccinated and wormed, and with a subsidised neutering plan in place!
Apply online at www.kenmareanimalrescue .ie or dm the page.

Liking and sharing will help the kittens find their forever homes!

Harry, on the right, is missing from his home in Collorus, Lauragh.
He is on daily medication which he urgently needs.
If you see him please dm the page🙏

Here at Kenmare Animal Rescue we look after all sorts of dogs in need.
The beautiful Jessy came into us on Thursday. She was left behind after her owner passed away and a lovely lady was feeding and checking on her.
She is now in foster care with one of our experienced fosterers.
Jessy had a vet check and is in quite good health except for bad arthritis in her back legs.
She is very shook up after a complete change in circumstances after 12 years in one home.
She is warm and safe now getting lots of cuddles and fuss!
We will give her all the time she needs to relax and feel better, if she needs to stay in our care forever that will be ok too!🥰
If you would like to donate to help us care for Jessy, you can do so on www.buymeacoffee.com/kenmareanimalrescue
Every little helps!🙏

Another day on the road taking our dear boy Fred up to Limerick Racecourse to meet his new family, who kindly drove down from Maynooth.
Fred came in as a stray, weighing only 14 kg.
Lots of tlc from super fosterers Susann O'Sullivan Daly and family, got his weight up to 20kg!
Fred is such a sweetheart, with a waggy tail, he loves everyone and is great with other dogs, so we were delighted to find him a home with another dog.
He is advanced level at counter surfing, but after weeks on the street who can blame him!!
We wish Fred and his new family many years of joy, fun and love ahead!🥰😍😘

Chester, head of dog socialisation at the rescue, has had his image created in felt by the fabulously talented Nicole The Artful Felter - Animal Creations .
We are blown away by her attention to detail, even down to his beloved tennis ball!

A lovely day yesterday taking Sparky and Cooper to their new forever homes in the UK.
Both dogs were brilliant on our long journey and were a credit to their foster families.
Huge thanks to Kath Dunbar and Andrew Burke for adopting these two beautiful dogs.
Be good guys and make us proud!!!

Milo had a meet and greet this afternoon, and then headed off to his new forever home.
We wish Milo and his new family lots of fun, love and adventures ahead.

PRIVATE REHOMING

Hi, I'm Milo.
I'm a 2 year old Irish Setter.
I was meant to be a gundog but I don't like the gun bit!! It's very scarey!!😱.
My owner wants to find me the best family home, as I'm super friendly and a very good boy!
I'm good with other dogs and I love everybody.
I'm used to living outside so will need help with my toilet training.
A secure garden is a must and I would love an active family to join on their adventures.
I'm up to date on my vaccinations, I'm chipped but I do need to be neutered by the new owners.
Please dm the page and the rescue will give you a ring!
Paws crossed in hope,
Love Milo xx

Our five little kittens had their 2nd vaccinations today so are ready to look for their new homes.
They are sweet, healthy and well handled.
We have a neutering programme in place for when they are old enough.
If you could offer one, or two! little kittens a new home you won't be disappointed!!

Liking and sharing will help these little cuties find their forever homes.

Please apply online at www.kenmareanimalrescue.ie or dm the page.

UPDATE, SPARKY IS RESERVED!!!
Poor Sparky is back looking for his forever home!
His suitcase was packed ready for his trip to the UK next week to his new home, and then yesterday his new owners pulled out due to personal reasons😪.

The most gorgeous, friendly boy who loves everybody, adults and children, other dogs, but not cats.
Sparky is 4 years old, neutered, crate and house trained, and he walks beautifully on the lead.
All vaccinations, including rabies are up to date.
We are heartbroken for Sparky, especially as we kept him in foster for 2 months to fit in with his new owners arrangements!
Please apply online at www.kenmareanimalrescue.ie or dm the page.

Liking and sharing will help find Sparky find his forever home.
