North Meath RFC

💛🖤 WELCOME HOME, BOYS! 🖤💛

What a weekend these boys have had! 🇪🇸🏉

Our U14s headed off to Malaga for a rugby tour, but they’ve come home with so much more than rugby memories.

These are the weekends they’ll talk about for years to come. The laughs, the slagging, the matches, the travelling, the stories… and most importantly, the friendships. 💛

Because rugby is about so much more than what happens on the pitch.

It’s about learning to be part of a team. Looking out for the lad beside you. Picking yourself up when things don’t go your way. Celebrating each other’s successes and facing the tough days together.

The skills learned through rugby reach far beyond the game — and the friendships made along the way can carry you through many of life’s ups and downs.

Someday these boys will look back at photos from this weekend and realise just how special these days were. 🥹

A massive thank you to the coaches and parents who put so much work into making this trip happen, and to the boys themselves who fundraised and volunteered to help make their tour possible.

Welcome home, lads. Memories made for life. 💛🖤

P.s. prayers for the coaches and parents who got in at 4am and are gone to work!

There is no cure for rugby. 🏉

FULL TIME | NORTH MEATH 22 – 17 MIDLAND WARRIORS

A good 22–17 win for North Meath at The Grange today. 🖤💛

A competitive game between the two sides, with North Meath doing enough to see it out and take the win.

Well played to both teams and thanks to Midlands Warriors for making the trip. 🏉

Everyone at North Meath RFC would like to extend our deepest sympathies to our club member Pete and his family on the passing of his beloved mum.

Our thoughts are especially with Pete, Niamh, Finn and Will, who are all such a huge part of the North Meath family.

May she rest in peace. 🖤💛
