More on this, coming!!!

I'll be sharing my foraging & cook workshop demos this week.

What an absolute pleasure 🙏 to be back working alongside the wonderfully talented after 25 years. Long term family friends, we had worked as chefs together years ago. I made a wild pesto today using the same method we were both taught by the talented in the Big Blue restaurant & cafe many moons ago.

Having had the most beautiful day yesterday at my one and only little sisters wedding at the I was a tad fragile. Erica made my it effortless for me this afternoon. FYI can't recommend the strongly enough. Superb quality of food & service like taking a step back in time to the best quality.

Thank you for all the support x

Nicole

Mugwort is back, found a beautiful wild patch today. Lots of 7 spotted ladybirds eating the greenfly and cuckoo spit larve - nymph on the Mugwort.

The primary purpose of cuckoo spit is to insulate the froghopper nymph. It keeps the nymph from drying out and hides it completely from general predators like ladybirds, the spit itself is very bitter & acidic which deters the ladybirds from eating the baby froghoppers.

Mugwort is an all time favourite of mine, certainly a magical mystical herb. Love a cup of Mugwort hot chocolate before bed. It is known to give lucid dreams, and yes she does. I've flown to Wales on the winds after a cuppa before bed.

A fantastic herb, for bloating, digestion, ridding parasites, menstrual cramps, digestion. Makes an amazing antispasmodic oil too.

I love to cook with it too, great in a carrot & courgette soup, tomato sauce and especially fab in my magnolia & mugwort chocolate fudge brownies.

Want to learn more, why not book one of my upcoming foraging tours, workshops or events.
