Martin, our SICAP Trainer, carried out FREE First Aid Training with a very attentive and enthusiastic group of people (28!) from the Killerein/Barnaderg community recently. The two-day training turned out to be a great 'community building' event also! Thanks to everyone who attended and trained in this potentially life-saving skill – well done all

Rinne Martin, ár Traenálaí SICAP, Oiliúint Garchabhrach SAOR IN AISCE le grúpa daoine an-aireach agus díograiseach (28!) ó phobal Cill Fhir Iarainn / Bearna Dhearg le déanaí. Bhí an oiliúint dhá lá ina ócáid iontach 'tógála pobail' freisin! Buíochas le gach duine a d'fhreastail ar an scil seo a d'fhéadfadh beatha a shábháil agus a thraenáil - maith sibh go léir

Is é an Tús tá sé mar aidhm ag an scéim an 'tús' a thabhairt do dhaoine dífhostaithe a theastaíonn chun cabhrú leo filleadh ar an bhfostaíocht. Beidh foghlaim ar feadh an tsaoil ina fachtóir tábhachtach lena chinntiú go mbeidh oibrithe oilte chun déileáil leis na hathruithe sa timpeallacht oibre agus teicneolaíochtaí nua sa todhchaí.

The Memory Café is taking place in the Loughrea Family Resource Centre on Wednesday 19th August from 2 to 4pm. This offers a welcoming, relaxed space for people living with memory loss and their carers to come together over a cup of tea, enjoy activities, chat, and connect with others who understand.

Please help spread the word by sharing this post. It could make a real difference to someone in our community.
