Echtrae

We had an absolutely fantastic evening last night at PeakShow Exhibitions at Riverfest (Fab Lab) exhibiting Echtrae alongside a great group of artists.

Thank you so much to everyone who came and to Sara and Ellen and all the team at Peakshow. The exhibition runs through the weekend until Sunday 5th with the live installment of Echtrae happening on Sunday.

A final performance of Echtrae will take place tomorrow at 3pm. Hope to see you all there!

Performance of Echtrae in 126 gallery opening night of Interplay.

Images of Echtrae video and live installation at INTERPLAY exhibition opening in 126 Artists led Gallery Galway city centre Saturday 23rd of February. Images taken by Simon Fennessy Corcoran and Day Magee. Other works include those of fellow exhibitors Phoebe Mcdonagh, Olivia Normile and Matthew Mitchell. INTERPLAY is open until this Sunday March 10th. A final live performance of Echtrae will take place in 126 Gallery this Saturday March 9th at 3pm.

Conor will be performing once again on the opening night of Interplay group exhibit in Galway ,126 Gallery, opening at 6pm on the 23rd of Feburary.

Hi everyone!

We will be uploading documentation of the Interplay Exhibition including the performance in the coming days!

Because of some confusion amongst people in the last week or two about what we do, we have decided to make a post explaining more about about who we are and what are our collaboration is about!

Grace McEvoy is a digital/lens based artist and Conor Coady is a performance artist. Together we are working on pieces which merge performance and lens based media in the many ways that the two mediums compliment and support each other conceptually and aesthetically.

We creatively collaborate equally on our work, which is a very important aspect for us. Our work is then realised through our different practical skillsets.

Echtrae is our first collaboration project in our exploration of merging these two mediums, of which we are planning on developing and continuing towards the creation of bigger and newer projects!
