Managing heavy loads such as beer kegs or gas cylinders is a difficult task particularly when stacking one on top of the other. It is a general rule within the hospitality industry, that two persons lift a filled beer keg. However, in practice, in the environment of a busy bar, with often limited staff numbers, it results in a bar person attempting to lift a keg on their own. Not only can this result in a back injury, fingers and toes can easily become trapped or squashed. It became obvious that a product was needed to address these serious safety concerns.

The electro-hydraulic lift was was designed to be compact enough to be managed comfortably in tight spaces, such as a cold room where space is at a premium. The current design of the KegAid can lift & move various type loads up to 0.6 meters in 7 seconds. Although the primary function of the Uni-Lift is to create a safer working environment it also reduces staff workload and saves time. Additionally, the product is easily manoeuvred, is multipurpose, and requires minimal maintenance and staff training.
