Today is Earth Day.
Today is a reminder that small everyday choices, can shape the future of our planet. Its not just about big global commitments- it's about what WE do consistently, at home and in our communities.
It can all be very a little overwhelming but a simple way to make a real impact is by choosing refills over single use plastic and packaging. Every time you refill a bottle, reuse a jar, or use your own kitchen containers, you reduce waste, conserve resources and challenge the throw away culture that has, unfortunately, become the norm.
Refill living isn't about perfection- it's about step by step progress. Its about making conscious decisions that accumulate over time. Less plastic, less waste, a lighter footprint on the earth and the feel good factor that you are doing your bit.
Take a small step - refill, reuse and rethink, because sustainability isn't just a one off action - it's a wonderful habit to build.

This Easter try to support Irish dairy farmers and Irish chocolate makers, who use real chocolate, unlike the many mass produced imports who are no longer able to use the word chocolate, as there is so little actual chocolate in their products and most contain the dreaded palm oil!

Happy Mothers Day - especially to my own amazing Mam. ❤️

Usually on International Women's Day - I think of the many women, family and friends, past and present, who have helped make me who I am today.
However, today I find myself thinking of the many women and girls that I don't know and will never meet. The brave women who are living through war, displacement and famine, carrying their families, protecting their children and holding their communities together under unimaginable pressure. By accident of birth and miles our lives are very different.
These are the brave women we should celebrate today.
