Ecology Arts Workshop with Karen Webster🎨
Join us for a day of hands-on creative activities and discussion exploring art, ecology and our connection to place🌼
Karen Webster is a visual artist and arts educator specialising in art and ecology. Through creative activities, close observation and sensory engagement with the natural world, this workshop will explore how art making can deepen our relationship with the environments around us🌾

Earlier this year, Creative Places Enniscorthy teamed up with Enniscorthy Community Allotments for The Oak Tree Project🌳
Led by artist .art , the project brought together members of the allotments, the Catch-Up Mondays group, KITE Day Service, and the Early Onset Dementia Group from Castle Gardens 🙌
Inspired by the plants, wildlife and stories of the allotments, participants shared ideas and worked together to create a colourful mural centred around the old oak tree 🐝🌼
The project also included a beautiful woven willow dome created with artist 🌿
More than anything, the project was about people coming together, getting creative, sharing experiences and making something lasting for the community😊
A big thank you to everyone who got involved and helped bring it to life💛

On Wednesday we were delighted to welcome members of the to take a look at some of the brilliant projects happening through Creative Places Enniscorthy🙌
Hosted in , the afternoon was full of music, conversation, ideas, creativity and community🎨
From Sounds of Our Town with , to We’re Allowed In There with and , and Into the Fold with , it was a lovely chance to share the work and the energy behind it all😊
