Great energy and discussion at our recent Selling @ Scale workshop at GreentechHQ with Dr. Maria Coakley from Skillnet Innovation Exchange.
The session focused on how ambitious SMEs can move from ad-hoc selling to building a scalable, repeatable sales engine that supports long-term growth.
Some of the key themes explored included:
β’ Building healthier pipelines with more reliable forecasting
β’ Designing repeatable sales processes
β’ Aligning sales and marketing more effectively (MQLs vs SQLs)
β’ Developing account management strategies for retention and growth
β’ Hiring, managing and incentivising high-performing sales teams
Most importantly, attendees left with practical frameworks, actionable tools and a clearer roadmap for scaling sales with structure and confidence.
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the discussion and shared their experiences openly throughout the workshop. The ambition and honesty in the room made for an incredibly valuable session.

The is still the single biggest market most Irish SMEs ignore.
This Friday, some of the UKβs top trade and export specialists are coming to GreentechHQ to change that.
Their job for the day: show Irish businesses exactly how to win UK customers and how to avoid the mistakes that cost time, money and momentum.
What you'll get in the room:
- What UK buyers are actually looking for in 2025
- How Irish companies are landing real growth in Britain right now
- The entry mistakes that kill deals
- Where the live opportunities sit by sector
- Practical commercial insight, not theory
This isn't a networking breakfast. It's a working session with people already operating at UK market level.
While some businesses keep weighing it up, others are already taking the shelf space, the contracts and the customers.
