Things are happening....👏👏👏

Im not going to lie, finishing book 5 made me very emotional because of how the ending came together and pride over the way I managed to capture the symbolism and healing I wanted. It is my most sympolic, poetic, and deepest book I have written when speaking about our minds. I love it so much that I wish I could publish it right in this moment. My Mum read it in one sitting last night and said it's her favourite I have written.
It's so tiny, only 15 thousand words. I write between 500-1k words a day, so this book came to an end so soon, I already miss writing it!

So I'm going to confuse you guys even more....
I have decided to self-publish book 5 next instead. Im off to go over it a million times and get it edited. The cover is clear in my mind so I really hope to have this book available as soon as possible.

As much as I want to continue to write every day, I have such a big backlog of books to publish so I'll now be focusing on getting the others published so I can then focus on writing then publishing instead of figuring out publishing 4 books. I can't wait to share this book with you all...📚

I only have one and a half chapters left to write for book 5, my first draft. This book is tiny, my smallest so far and I'm thinking it'll be around 50 pages. Small but inpactful. This book has been so much fun to write as it's a very unusual concept 💀

A little updated on where I am with publishing my 4 other stand alone books...

I have a big backlog due to struggling to find a new editor. Book 2 is still coming out with publishers and should be out end of the year or new year.

Book 3 I will be self publishing and is currently in the editing process while I prepare to get the cover created. Hopefully it won't be very long till I can publish it. It will come out before book 2 but I'm excited.

Book 4 is being read by my beta readers and then I'll start the editing and self publishing process.

Book 5...you already know is almost alive 📚

When the sun comes out, all I want to do is read a quick novella while I soak in the blissful weather! ☀️

I haven't actually properly introduced myself since my book came out in February, so.... a little about me ✨️

Hellooo book lovers and Authors 👋 Name is Rue, I'm the Author of Sands Of Time ⏳️

I'm a 28 year old Libra and was born in London, raised mostly in Surrey, England. I moved to Ireland 6 years ago and live in a beautiful town in Co. Clare. 🇬🇧🇮🇪

I struggled with dyslexia growing up but always had a very wild imagination. From a young age I would write stories as I learnt to read and write. I fell inlove with reading when I read Harry Potter and Twilight. Overall, I was always creative in different ways. I started dedicating my time to writing in 2020 and am currently writing my 5th book. I am also in the process of publishing 3 of them, which are horrors 📚

I also own a small business called where I design crochet bears and sell the patterns designs. I've been crocheting for around 10 years. 🧸

I also create oil pastel portraits from time to time and used to work as a photographer 📸

I'm a big nature and animal lover, I love to bike, hike and kayak and love to watch or read a horror in the evenings. I love all things spooky 👻

I love other creative people that express themselves in all kinds of art forms, and I wouldn't be able to survive a day without music 🎶

It's so nice to connect with all of you, and I'm looking forward to sharing the depth of my imagination for many years to come! 📚

After finishing writing book 4 I took a break to start the process of dealing with my backlog of books to prepare for publication. Now things are progressing towards publishing my other books, I'm starting book 5 📚
